The last day of summer has come and this means that the Ross family will spend it together in central park. Christina and Morgan are getting everything ready with Bertram, while the kids are in the elevator to get Jessie, as they think she's part of the family aswell.
Emma knocks on the door and Tony answers it. ''Hey Tony, you guys ready?'' Zuri asks and Tony nods while letting them into their apartment. Dunya runs up to them and starts jumping onto Luke. ''Hey doggy.'' He says with a baby voice as he pets the dog. They walk into the living room, getting followed by Dunya, where they see Jessie Mila, reading a magazine. ''Jessie, you ready?'' Emma asks and the girls turn around. ''Yeah, I just need my bag. You'll be okay, right?'' Jessie asks Mila and she nods. ''Yeah sure! Have fun in the park you guys.'' She says with a smile. ''What are you reading?'' Ravi asks Mila, as Jessie walked out to grab her bag. ''Something about my new school.'' She says while showing the Magazine. Meanwhile Dunya brings all her toys towards Luke, so he would play with her. He throws away something that looks like a cow and the Labrador sprints after it. ''Hey Walden Acacdemy! We all go there!'' Zuri says to Mila and she gets a smile on her face. ''Well, except for me. I already graduated.'' Emma says while shining. ''You must be in Luke's class.'' Ravi says and they all look at Luke, who's not paying attention because he's trying to get the 'cow' back from Dunya. ''Yay...'' She says a bit hasitating, but then laughing. ''Okay, I'm ready!'' Jessie shouts while heading back into the room. ''Once again, you'll...'' - ''Yeah yeah, I'll be fine! Don't worry!'' Mila says and she waves at them as they walk to the elevator. ''Have fun!'' Mila says one more time and then the elevator doors close. She walks back to the apartment, where she finds Dunya, who's sad her new friend left. ''You'll see him around, don't worry.'' Mila laughs and she pets her favorite animal friend. She then closes the door and grabs the schoolmagazine again. ''The time is really here...'' She whispers to herself.
''So Jessie, how's the writing going?'' Morgan asks when they're all sitting down for their picnick. ''The first episode is almost done!'' She says. ''Wow, that's quick! Nice.'' Morgan nods and Jessie smiles proudly. ''But enough about me. I wanna hear everything about Camp Kikiwaka. And Luke's summerschool. Your mom said you had straight A's, I'm so proud of you.'' Jessie says. ''Yeah, it all went well!'' Luke says while taking a bite of his sandwich. ''And Camp was amazing!'' Zuri says with a big smile. ''I can't wait to get back there!'' Emma says. ''No, you can't wait to see Xander again.'' Zuri says. ''Oooh, so Xander and Emma is still a thing?'' Jessie asks and Emma nods happily. ''This summer was our 1 year anniversary. And I know we can get many more years. He's in college now and I'm working for Leopard Beat, but I'm sure we'll see eachother soon. We're going to FaceFilm tonight.'' Emma says. ''Camp Kikiwaka is magical. I mean, even Ravi had dates.'' Zuri says. ''Hey... There were more girls who wanted al of this.'' Ravi says while pointing at himself. ''A 12 year old who is emotional unstable doesn't count.'' Zuri says and Ravi just shakes his head at her. ''A date is a date.'' Tony says and he fist-bumps Ravi. ''Our kids are growing up so fast.'' Christina says while whiping away a tear but she gets interrupted by Luke screaming: ''HAHA TAKE THAT, ZOMBIES.'' - ''Well, atleast 3 of them are.'' Jessie says and they all nod at that.
''Holy.... The JabboWockeez are in Central Park!'' Luke suddenly shouts. ''Awesome! Who are they?'' Tony asks. ''Just the most incredible dance crew America ever had! I NEED to find them! May I please look for them? Please mom? I'll be back in time for the parade!'' Luke begs and Christina looks at Morgan. ''Okay, but be on time for the parade. It's tradition!" Christina says. 'THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.'' Luke shouts, while hugging his mom and taking off. ''Okay, so far our family picnick...'' Morgan sighs and Christina laughs. ''Ah come on, when was the last time you saw him this excited?'' Christina asks and Morgan nods. ''I get it.'' He laughs. ''So, how are things for you as a working-at-home-mother?'' Jessie asks Christina. ''You should ask the kids, but I think I'm actually getting good at it.'' She answers and surprisingly, the kids nod. ''She knows what time we have to go to school, now.'' Ravi says. ''And that I HATE cheddar.'' Zuri says. ''You're a good mom, Christina.'' Jessie says with a smile. ''Thanks Jessie. I am so thankfull for your work.'' Christina answers and they toast. ''Shall we take a last walk through Central Park before the parade starts?'' Tony suggests and they all nod in agreement. ''Yeah, let's do that!''Morgan says and they all get up.
''Come on......'' Luke sighs as he's wandering through the park. ''My app says they should be here...'' He whispers to himself. He sighs one more time and he twirls slowly around to scan the area. Suddenly he sees some movement and he walks over there. ''Dang it.'' He hears and he bumps into someone. ''Oh, I'm so sorry.'' He says as he puts his hand over to help the person up. ''Luke?'' It's Mila. ''What are you doing here? Where are the others?'' She asks while she grabs his hand. He pulls her up and smiles. ''I was searching for... Never mind. Why are you here? Shouldn't you be in the apartment?'' He asks. ''Yeah, well... I wanted to see the parade but I got a text that said that my favorite Dance Crew, the JabbaWockeez, were in Central Park so I went looking for them, but I got terribly lost and I'm not used to my new US phone yet, so I couldn't find my way through maps.'' She answers, as she looks a bit embarrased. ''I was looking for them too! I thought they'd be here somewhere, but instead I found you.'' Luke says and she smiles at him. ''Well, I'm glad you did. Atleast you can tell me where I have to go to go back to my apartment. I'm so done with walking.'' She laughs and he nods at her. ''Sure. But... You just said you wanted to go to the parade?'' He says and she just shrugs. ''Yeah, but then I have to get back again and probably will get lost again and I think I've been lost enough for 1 day.'' She answers and he chuckles. ''Probably. Well, if you still want to go, you can come with me? I'm meeting my family in an hour. Untill then we can still search for the JabbaWockeez?'' Luke suggests and without hesitating she nods. ''I'd love that. Thanks.'' He smiles and grabs his phone to search for the location of the dance crew. Mila just follows him around untill the find them and the performance of the JabbaWockeez is amazing. After they're done, Luke leads her to the 'Ross-spot' for the parade.
''Luke, there you are! They're about to start!'' Christina says as she sees Luke's face in the crowd. Just a little later, Mila follows up. He's holding onto her wrist so he won't lose her in the crowd. ''Mila, you actually got here!'' Jessie says smiling and Mila nods. ''Yeah, thanks to Luke!'' - ''Wait.. You knew she wanted to go?'' Luke asks Jessie and she nods. ''Yes I did. She told me she didn't want to interrupt the family-thing so she'd go by herself.'' Jessie says. She then whispers to Tony; ''You can call off the police, she's here.'' Tony nods and grabs his cellphone to make the call. ''Come stand with me, Mila!'' Emma says, grabbing her wrist and pulling Mila into the front row. She can't believe what she's seeing and just smiles through the entire parade. She doesn't even think about her first day at high school, that's starting tomorrow...
