Chapter 18

DAN'S POV:
As I was walking back to the hotel, the thoughts about the Aaron told me keep stirring around in my brain. How could I hide this from (Y/N)? I can't. I have to tell her! But Aaron told me not to and that he will tell her?!
When I got to the hotel I found her sitting on our bed. I walked up to her and sat down allowing her to rest her head on my chest. I placed a kiss on her forehead and I felt her face heat up.
"What's wrong babe?" (Y/N) asked. Concern filled her voice.
"Nah it's nothing. I'm fine. Don't worry about me!" I cheerfully said. I put on my best poker face and smiled through it all.
"No babe! You're not okay. Why were you at the hospital? Why are you acting different?" She didn't even raise her voice but I could her the hurt in her voice. She raised her head from my chest and sat up looking at me. Tears filled her eyes. One ran down her cheek and I wiped it away.
"Aaron just wanted to see me babe." I said putting a hand on her neck and pecking her cheek.
"Why though? What did he tell you?" She asked.
"He said he wants to tell you himself, but I can't keep this from you." I said looking at my lap. "He hit Aaron." I said.
     "What........n-no......th-that's not true.......h-he wouldn't.....he pro-promised me." She said. She wasn't even really crying but looked shocked instead.
     "That's what Aaron told me. Also he told me to take care of you and make sure you're okay." I said looking her in her eyes. Her eyes were grey and sad. Tears ran down her face. Even though she was visibly broken she was still as beautiful as ever. Nothing would change that.
     At that point I knew she was done talking and she just needing time to take everything in. As long as I was here she would be okay in the end. I knew it.
     I looked down and saw (Y/N) sleeping, breathing steadied along with her heartbeat. She was so calm and content. So peaceful.
     I grabbed my phone and clicked tumblr. Fan art, memes, and more fan art. After a while I got bored. She was still sleeping and it was nearly 10 at night. I was somehow able to grab my headphones and mac book. I clicked on Netflix.
     I found the anime I was currently watching, Black Butler, and hit the 15th episode. Within three episodes I was out.
