Chapter 2

(TIME SKIP TO DAN AND PHIL'S FLAT)

DAN'S POV:
I'm so excited that she agreed to come over. Now I can get to know her a bit better before I tell her how I feel. I hope she feels the same way. I thought. Phil clearly knows so maybe I should talk to him first and get his opinion.

YOUR POV:
Dan is so cute. Maybe I should- wait I just met him and he probably doesn't like me anyway. Plus if he found out my secret he surely wouldn't stay with me. You thought.
When you walked into their flat you saw that Phil was already looking up things to eat.
"How about (Y/F/F)?" Dan asked
"I'm good with that, (Y/N)?" Phil asked looking up from his phone long enough for you to answer.
"Sure, but you guys really don't have to." You said.
"No, no don't worry about it, your our new neighbor. Consider it our way of welcoming you to London!" Phil stated and Dan nodded in agreement.

DAN'S POV:
"Hey Phil, may I speak to you for a moment?" I asked
"Sure Dan, (Y/N) we will be right back." Phil said while I was pulling him up stairs to where we record for our gaming channel.
"Okay!" I heard her scream from downstairs.
When we got upstairs I closed the door and spilled it.
"Phil I know that you already know this, but I like her. A lot." I said looking at the ground.
"I could have guessed that. Well if you like her so much then ask her out." Phil made it sound so easy
"How though? What if she doesn't like me back? Or what if she rejects me?" I couldn't help it. I have low self esteem.
"Just ask if you can speak to her alone, then ask her out. If she says no then she obviously isn't good enough for you." Phil said smiling. He always knew how to make me laugh and boost my confidence.
We walked back into the living room where we found (Y/N) sitting in the couch scrolling through tumbler.
"(Y/N) may I speak to you for a second?" I was trying not to look and sound as nervous as I was.
"Sure Dan." She said standing up and walking over to me.
We walked to my room and I closed the door behind me. I took a seat on my bed and she plopped down beside me.
"Listen (Y/N) I know we just met and all, but I-I um......" I just couldn't say it
"I like you too Dan. " she said finishing my sentence for me. "That is what you were going to say wasn't it?" She asked nervously.
"Yes actually it was. Would you like to maybe go out sometime? Like be my girlfriend?" That was easier than expected.
"Yes Dan I would love that!" She squealed.
Whenever we walked out of my room Phil bombarded us with questions. They basically consisted of did you do it? and did she say yes? Over and over again. (Y/N) was walking slightly behind me only so when I got Phil to calm down, she could walk out beside me revealing that our hands were intertwined. Phil smiled and hugged us both. I'm glad to know that he was as happy for us as we were.
