I glance around and find papers with my name at the top, but why??
I read a few paragraphs, before realizing that they probably went to the house!
The man could be coming for me as I read this letter...
My phone was in a ziplock bag next to me, I pink it up and take it out of the bag.
"Why is my phone in a ziplock bag," I notice the screen "And why is is cracked?!"
I go on FaceTime and add everyone to a call, everybody answers except for...
Katelyn and Johnny.
They were at the house.
[Katelyn's POV]
We step into the library and look around, I notice a small circle portion of the ceiling was glass, but partly smashed.
"Do you think that's how she escaped?" I point up at the glass.
"Yeah," Johnny looks a bookshelf up and down "And she climbed onto this to get up there"
I step into the shelf, it was surprisingly stable.
"It's stable," I reach and climb through the opened glass "C'mon"
Johnny climbs up and I reach my hand down to help him up.
I crawl over to the chimney and look down, a worn out rope was clearly seen sticking out of the water a bit.
"She used the rope," I face Johnny "So she didn't get hurt jumping down here"
Johnny nods in agreement.
"Yo," I pull off my belt "Gimme your belt"
He doesn't question me, he just passes me his belt. I tie them together as tie one side to the side of the roof, I jump down as I held them, no pain whatsoever.
"C'mon loser," I smirk "Jump"
"I, J man, am not a loser. I will prove it! Pass me the end!" He reaches out his hand.
"Kay," I toss it up to him "Show me"
'This'll be good' I think to myself, smirking.
He grips the belt and jumps off, falling on his face. He rubs his cheek in pain and stands "Note to self, get belts from somewhere other then DollerPlace..." He unties the belts form eachother and hands mine to me.
I put my belt back on and dash right away.
"Yo Kate!" He calls, running after me "Where in the world as you going?!"
"Home!" I yelled back "She's gotta be home by now!"
