Chapter Ten===Laurence has Emotions?

As we were heading down the mall to the arcade, I didn't acknowledge Laurence at all. I just walked along beside him. I couldn't stop thinking about Katelyn, I really hope that Travis' plan will work...

We had all been pretty much silent, except for Aph's sneeze a few seconds ago.

I finally look up from staring at the floor as I walked, and looked at the glowing sign that wrote out 'Arcade-Creating gamers since '87', and we knew that it was the place.

Laurence turns to me, "May I quickly speak with you? In private?"

"Why?" I scoffed "You gonna kiss me or something when nobody looks??"

"No!" He raises his hands in defence "I promise I won't! Just please come talk with me, I promise it'll only take about a minute"

I grumble and turn to everyone else, "Move on in, I'll catch up"

I notice Katelyn eyeing Laurence before glaring, then turning to head inside.

"What is it, F-Boy?" I crossed my arms.

"What?!" He seemed shocked "For the record, I've only been acting like this so Katelyn gets jealous!"

I scoff "Why?"

"Because...!" He starts to whisper "I can tell by the way you look at her that you like her! Plus, she's been glaring daggers into my soul ever since I claimed we were going on a date, so she's already quite jealous!"

I roll my eyes "Because we're friends, it's not jealously, it's protecting your friend from an F-Boy"

"No!" He said, still being quiet "She posted that she was Bisexual on her newsfeed!"

"What's your point, F-Boy?" I scoffed.

He sighs, "let's just go inside before anybody thinks I've kidnapped you and tied you up in my basement..."

I look at him and raise an eyebrow.

"They...they think I'm an F-Boy now... Because I'm just trying to get you two together... But I'm actually a really nice guy, turning into Travis..."

I suddenly felt bad for the guy and wrapped my arms around him. "It's fine"

"No no... I shouldn't have done this! I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry!" He pushed me away.

Tears started to form around his eyes but he wiped them away quickly.

"No no!" I pulled him into another comfortable hug "Its okay, you were just trying to help..." I stroked his hair from behind.

"No, that's not my point..." He pulled away and his bangs covered his teary eyes.

I looked at him, concerned for what the answer was. "W-What is it then?"

"I..." He looks at me as our eyes lock "I think I've fallen in love with you..."
