December 23rd. This was it. This was the day that Henry leaves his house. The day Connor will be left alone for several hours. The day Judith and Sherri were going to sneak into Henry's house and free Connor.

"I'll be back soon pet. I'm going Christmas shopping and maybe take a walk around the city." Henry said while scratching under Connor's chin then headed for the door.

"I'll be as quick as I can, although I do doubt myself sometimes." he said with a chuckle.

He then left.

-

Several hours shave off the clock. Connor spent most of the time lying on his back and staring at either the ceiling or outside of the cage, longing to live his normal life again, and crying.

Henry still wasn't back. 8:24 pm the time was.

Silence blared throughout the house, not even the sound of Henry's parents was near his hearing. Not even the servants and maids, but he then remembered Henry killed them and fed them to Connor which he still felt ill about.

-

Meanwhile outside the house on a roof stood Judith and Sherri staring hard at a vent.

"Sherri...couldn't we just go through the door?" Judith asked, a little nervousness carrying in her voice.

"Judi, first of all, that's too easy, second of all, there could be a trap down there, third of all, I wanna feel cool when I do this break in." Sherri replied.

She finally managed to open the air vent after prying it open with a crow bar. She tossed the lid to the side then jumped in yelling a loud "Woohoo!"

Judith gulped. She nervously climbed over but then fell into the vent, screaming.

She put her hands and feet on the walls of the vent as an attempt to slow herself down, but alas it failed.

Her body continued to fall fast through the small square space. She felt heat at the back of her hood.

No no! I don't want to be incinerated!

Suddenly she felt her hand being caught. She was dangling. She looked up, Sherri held onto her hand tight.

"Took you long enough." she said with a smirk.

Judith looked off to the side with a red face.

She then felt herself soaring up and into another part of the vent.

"Help me up!" called Sherri.

Judith pulled Sherri up, they then began to crawl through the vent.

"So how do you know there aren't traps up here?" Judith eventually asked.

"Judi have you not seen the movies?" Sherri said. "The villain NEVER thinks to put traps in the vents!"

"Yes I've seen the movies Sherri." Judith replied with an aggravated sigh. "And now that I think about it, you know what eventually happens when a person crawls in an air vent for a long time?"

"Are you trying to be a smartass?" Sherri asked with a smirk.

"Maybe." Judith replied back with a smirk.

While crawling, she touched a sensitive part of the vent and fell through the opening. Sherri followed.

They fell into a dark room with the dim light of the open vent being their light source.
