My Twins (Nalu)

Chapter 6

  Natsu gently placed Lucy on her bed. Lucy just laid limply while Natsu looked around.

"What are you looking for?" Lucy whispered. Natsu looked at her sheepishly.

"I was wondering if you had any soup?" Lucy smiled. She got up. Natsu panicked and pushed her gently back on the bed.

"No! You need to rest!!!" Lucy simply stood up and grabbed his hand.

"If I told you. You'd get lost." She laughed as Natsu pouted.

You know how we described her house as small? Yeah? Well screw that!!! On the outside it looks small but inside...it's a freaking mansion!!! Lucy had so many rooms. She even has two basements and attics !!! Two!!! And they look like different houses.

Lucy dragged Natsu into the kitchen.

"What. The. Heck. Luce." Lucy giggled at Natsu dumbfounded expression.

"Told ya." She reached up the counter to try to reach the shelf the can of soup was located in. She tried jumping on her tippy toes but still couldn't reach. Suddenly she felt warm hands lift her up.

Lucy looked down to see Natsu grinning. She smiled and grabbed the can.

"Thanks." "No problem. Now..." Natsu picked up Lucy and sat her on the chair, "You rest while I cook lunch." "But Nats-"

"No 'buts'!!! You're tired. You need to sleep. Don't worry about me." He gave her one of his signature toothy smiles. She returned the action as her eyelids grew heavy. She laid her head on the table and dozed off.

Natsu silently laughed at her cute actions. He started to boil the water.

"Hey Lu--" Natsu stared at Lucy's sleeping face. He had finished making the soup and was going to give some to Lucy but she...well.

Natsu placed the bowl of soup on the table and sat next to Lucy. He laid his head next to hers. He watched as her head slightly moved.

How her snores were small and almost inaudible. How her pink plump lips were slightly parted. How her cheeks were a light pink color. How her long eyelashes moved from her breath.

Oh how Natsu loved her features. He certainly recognized her from the moment he looked at her face. He and his brother both fell in love with her the same day they met her.

He leaned closer to her face. Looking closely at her features. 'So cute'

Her eyes shot up. Natsu blushed and quickly pulled his face away causing him to fall backwards in the process.

"Ow..." He rubbed his rear end. "Natsu..." Lucy mumbled as she rubbed her eyes like a child. Natsu slightly blushed at her cuteness.

"What happened?" She yawned. Natsu thought about what he almost did. He blushed crimson and felt guilty. He almost took advantage of her. He felt horrible.

"Nothing. I was just going to wake you to give you some soup. But when you opened your eyes, you...may...have scared the crap out of me and made me fall." He gave a small laugh.

Lucy smiled. "Thanks." She grabbed the spoon on the table and started eating. Her eyes widened.

"Wow Natsu this is good!!! I didn't know you could cook!!" Natsu smiled. "Well Nat's not the only talented one. I usually cook, but he can cook too."

"Well I'm going to make sure to invite you to cook with me sometime." She smiled. Natsu's heart fluttered. "Thanks."

Lucy quickly finished the soup which impressed Natsu. "Dang Luce, and I thought I ate fast." Lucy laughed.

"Hey Natsu..what time is it?" Natsu looked at the clock. "It's...5:30." He smiled. Lucy smirked. "And what time do we get out of school?"

"Mmm...at 2:15." Lucy tried to hold in her laughter.
"And who is related to you that may need a ride home from school?" Natsu thought for a moment. Lucy almost burst out laughing when his face showed a horrified expression.

"Oh no!!! Nat!!!" Natsu quickly grabbed his coat and raced towards the door. "Bye Luce. Don't forget to rest!!!" And with that he slammed the door and raced towards his car.

Lucy bursted out laughing and rolled on the floor. She wiped the tears in her eyes. "Oh Natsu. You're so silly." She said to herself. Suddenly she felt a pain in her head.

"Oh Natsu, You're so silly!!!" A little girl laughed.

It was like a memory from the past. It's sounded like her when she was younger. But why did it show now? What was that memory about?

She shook her head and went to her room. When she walked in, she saw her drawer glowing brightly. She rushed over and closed it. Her eyes pooled with tears.

"No. No. No. No. NOO!!!" She shook her head violently. "No!!! Not now!!! Why!?" She cried harder. Flashbacks came.

Blood. Screams. Tears. Lights. Fire.

"No!!!" She banged her head forcefully on her dresser. "Please no..." She whimpered as she held her bleeding head. The pain subdued and she sat limply on the floor. Hugging herself. She rocked gently back and forth.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." She kept repeating. She slowly fell into darkness as she cried to herself on the floor.
