-Amy-
"And you're the famous Wesley..?" I ask.
"Rush" he says.
"Right" I say crossing my arms.

He leans out against the wall.
"What are you doing out here on your own?" He asks.

"Getting away from-"
A half naked drunk runs out of the party.
"-that" I say.

"Not a party girl?" He smirks.
"Mm, not really anymore"
"That's a shame" he sighs.
"And whys that?" I ask smiling.

He doesn't say anything but plasters a huge smirky grin across his face.

"Come on, I'll get you a drink" he says holding his hand out.
I don't budge.
"Oh, come on. I don't bite" he smirks.
I take his hand and he guides me to the drinks.

"Woah Wesley! Who's the hot chick?" Some drunk yells.
"Jake, Amy, Amy, Jake" Wesley introduces.

"Hey" I say half smiling.
"Lucky guy" he says looking at Wesley.
"Better watch out for Blake" he yells.
Wesley tightens his grip of my hand and gets us both a drink.

"What does he mean, Blake?" I ask.
"It's nothing" he says, avoiding the question.

"For you" he says handing me whatever this drink is.
I cheers him and chuck the whole shot back.
"Who's to say you're not a party girl" he says laughing drinking his own shot.

"It's been a long night" I say. "And besides, I need a distraction"
He gives me a smirky grin and grabs my hand pulling me into the crowd of people.

Everyone's dancing and making out. I joined in and felt the same rush of adrenaline that I got when I went to parties.
Wesleys with me, but that doesn't stop other guys from appearing.

Wesleys POV

That shot hit Amy really fast. Her mood was lifted and she was making out with every guy she could.

By the end of all of this I'd had enough.
Ben came up to her and smashed his face on hers.

I pushed him over and punched him in the face.
"WESLEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" She yells at me seeing if bens okay.
The music is dull and the people have stopped dancing.

Amy's POV

Wesleys leaning against a wall opposite me.
"Why'd you hit him?" I ask, after a minute of silence.

"I have my reasons"
A huge smirk grows on his face.

I roll my eyes and grab Blair. He's just like every other guy in this universe. All the wanna do is get you drunk, and in your pants.
And I don't want any part of it.

"Blair I can't do this" I say looking around at the party.

"But we're only just getting started" she yells.
"Please?" I ask.
She nods and gets the hint.

-

Blair's staying at mine tonight, she practically begged me to not be alone for one night.
"What was it? The trigger?" She asks.
She turns into my street.

"I-I don't know. It was.. Wesley and all the drinking, it just reminded me of, you know" I say looking at her.

She smiles and pulls up to my house.
It's 12:48. The only reason I'm not scared of my mum at this moment, is because she'd encourage me to stay out late and "have fun". She doesn't want me to be alone and, basically what I am.

"Hey Mrs Miller!" Blair says smiling.
"Hello darling! Haven't seen you in a while. How was the party?" Mum asks.

"Fine. We're going upstairs" I say walking up to my room.

I jump on my bed, closing my eyes.
"I met this guy tonight" Blair starts.

As much as I should want to listen, I really didn't want to. I used to be about the boys and parties but I don't care anymore.

"And like it wasn't my fault that he was dating Ashley, like how was I supposed to know? And even if I did it's not like she was meant to find out" she says.

I nod my head not really paying attention.
"So, what happened with you and Wesley?" She asks.

"I don't know, I mean I was outside and he was there. He had apparently heard stuff about me but I'm not sure what. It really wasn't a big deal, we had a drink, a guy kissed me and then-"

"He punched him? You should have seen Blake she was so mad" she laughs.

"Why?" I ask.
"Wesley and Blake are like a thing" she says.
"Oh" is all I could say, remembering what Jake told me.

"Amy?!" A soft voice calls from the hall way.
I look at Blair.
"It's Deakin, he's not coping very well" she nods.

I walk to his room and sit on his bed.
"Another one?" I ask.
He nods.
"It was different this time.." I look at him confused.

"This time all of you were in the accident, you Dad and Mum. I was on my own" he says.

I don't say anything. I just hug him tightly.
"Mums getting more worried. She keeps bringing your counselling sessions up" he says.

"I know. She's trying to help-"
"I don't want her help, I'm sick of people trying to help me" he says annoyed.

He rolls over before I can say anything.

------------------------------------------------------

It's 7am and I've slept in more than I should have, suddenly regretting last night.
Blair's in my bathroom.
"Morning sunshine" she laughs.
"Urgh" I groan getting out of bed.

"And remind me why we went to that party last night" I say brushing my teeth.
"Oh, lighten up. It was fun"
"Fun is not the right word" I say.

I straighten my hair and apply my makeup.
"Your mum seems, really.." Blair starts.

"Happy? Coping?" I ask.
She nods.

"It's all an act, she thinks that if she shows that she's doing okay then we will too" I say grabbing my phone.

"It's not, is it?" She asks, already knowing the answer.
