Riley's P.O.V (Two years earlier:)
I woke up in the backseat of the two guy's car. I remembered getting dragged outside because of the fire. I remember Issie. Oh god Issie! Tears pricked my eyes thinking about her. It was stupid of me to leave her alone. Why should I trust these guys? I mean, I barely knew them. I guess I was in so much shock and grief that I had turned to them for comfort. I could see it in their eyes, especially Sam, that they had been through more than any person should ever have to go through.
We pulled up at a strange metal, heavy looking round rusty door.
"What is this?" I asked in my half awake state. I had fallen asleep again.
"The closest thing we have for a home." Sam replied.
"I'll park in the garage. Hold on." Dean added. What the fuck? A garage? Where the hell? Were these guys crazy!? There was no garage! Dean drove down a road bordered by big old trees. He came to a stop at a door. He pushed a button and the door came up, revealing a huge garage area with room to fit at least ten cars, if not, more. There were already a few older cars already taking up a few spaces. They must have heaps of money stashed away somewhere. Strange for a hunter.
"Nice cars." I told them.
"Not ours. This baby is mine though." Dean beamed proudly.
"Feel free to take your pick." Sam offered, see in me already eyeing up a gorgeous green 1959 Chevy Bel air.
"Do you mind if I take that Bel air over there?" I asked shyly.
"Yep all yours." Sam smiled at me looking at his brother who almost looked stunned that a girl knew her cars so well.
"Wow. You really know cars, don't you?"
"Yeah. My dad was a mechanic. I helped him a lot, especially with the classic cars. I loved classic cars so much. In fact, my first car was a 1970 Chevelle SS. I bet this one sucks up petrol like you wouldn't believe?" I quizzed an awe struck Dean.
"Oh my god! You guys are perfect for each other!" Sam groaned loudly.
"I can tell he doesn't like cars that much?" I smirked at him in a teasing way. It was amazing how I had already got pretty close with these two already and we had only known each other for a few hours.
"They don't really interest him, no. Isn't that right Sammy?" Dean slapped his brother on the shoulder jokingly.
"It's Sam!" Sam retorted, rolling his eyes, slapping his brother in the arm back, which only caused Dean to laugh harder.
"My butt's asleep. Could we please go inside now?"
"Uh, yeah sure. I'll go find the keys to that Bel air. If not we'll just hot wire it. I just thought you would want keys." Dean suggested.
"I would like keys thanks if you can find them." I smiled at him, causing him to blush. "Lets go inside." Sam got out of the car after another awkward silence.
Inside was huge and fancy. The library had book shelves that went up to the high ceiling, full of books. The kitchen was large and old, but still classy. The hallway was full of mazes of corridors which would take forever to figure out.
"Here's your room." Dean stopped in front of a door. It had a strange marking, almost like a fucked up star. Underneath the symbol, the number 171 was screwed onto the door with bronze numbers. At least I wouldn't accidentally walk into someone else's room.
Dean opened the door and stepped out of the way for me. In the room was a king sized bed and a dresser. There was another door on the far right side of the room which I guessed lead to a bathroom.
"Wow! This place is amazing! I could get used to staying in a place like this!" I beamed at Dean, who was staring at me in amusement the entire time.
"How about tomorrow we go out and I can buy you a bunch of clothes and shit for your room? my treat." He smiled softly at me, while I gawked at his generous offer.
"what do you mean?" I stammered shyly. Was he suggesting that I stayed?
"I totally understand if you don't want to, i mean you don't even know us, but would you like to stay with us?" He smiled so shyly, how could I say no?
"Dean, I would love to stay with you guys." I smiled gently and gratefully at him. he smiled back.
"great, we leave tomorrow. so be ready, and I will not let you pay for anything. It can be as expensive as you want okay?"
"Yeah, okay." I sighed, already knowing that he wouldn't give in.
I spent the rest of the day at the bunker familiarizing myself with the bunker, trying to remember every turn to take to get to my room, the kitchen, the bathroom, etc. I smiled, humming to myself as I walked around the huge library. I knew I was going to love it here.
