I started getting ready, I started brushing my long, curly, light brown hair, which had gone frizzy from the Rain, as I had o e of those moments where it's raining and you just have to go out and run around in the Rain like an absolute idiot. Once I had finally brushed it down enough to be presentable, I started to pick out what to wear. I finally decided on my favourite band tee, nirvana. I had alot of band tees. I loved that kind of music. I had led zeppelin, metallica, green day and all sorts. I picked out my favourite pair of jeans. They were worn and faded, the style I liked. I searched for my favourite plaid shirt and my old leather jacket, which smelled like oil and lynx. It was once my dad's, but when he died, it was handed down to me. I put on some completely black converse shoes and checked my face in the mirror, I need a bit of mascara. I thought to myself. My whiskey brown eyes were big and soft, but i needed mascara. I didn't like to wear makeup, but despite myself I put on a thin bit of mascara. Done, perfect. I thought to myself. I walked downstairs, waved goodbye to my mum and walked out the door where Issie was waiting.

Issie was tall for her age. She was 12. I know she is so young and especially after the whole biccardi incident, but that was my idea. Anyway who cares how old she is? So what she was younger? It was only two years difference. She was usually quiet around people, but with me she was like a totally different person, bright and bubbly and always cracking jokes (usually dirty ones) and always laughing. I was always bright, bubbly and got along with almost anyone and everyone called me funny.
"So, where do you wanna go?" Just down the street to that quiet mall there. Sound good to you?" I suggested. " yep sounds great." Issie agreed. So we started the walk to the mall.

(10 minutes later)

We finally got to the mall. After some shopping and some food we just watched the people going past. That soon got Boring, so we just kept walking around. I looked at my watch. 10.46. "OH SHIT!" I shouted. Luckily there weren't many people around, even though it was an after hours mall. "It's 10.46!" I said, my voice filled with panic. I quickly hugged Issie goodbye and full on sprinted home I was shorter than Issie, who was struggling to keep up, unlike her I was average height for my age and was able to run faster because there was less weight to carry. Although I was taller than her now, I had a huge feeling that she would one day be taller than me.

(5 minutes later)

I ran through the door and started apologising over and over to my mum, wherever she was in the house. When she didn't come downstairs, I called out to her. Nothing. "MUUUUMMM!!!" I hollered at the top of my lungs. I heard a muffled "I'm upstairs stop shouting!" So I made my way upstairs. Preparing to exsessivley apologize for not coming home on time. But when I went into her room, the lights were off, and there was someone standing by her bed. The bed was empty. Why is she just standing there? I thought to myself. "You need help getting into bed ma'am?" I said in my best York accent. "Muu- oh my god!" Was all I managed to get out. The person standing beside my bed wasn't my mum. The person-or whatever it was turned o  the bedside light and showed him/itself. He was a shortish chubby man with black, graying hair and he was wearing an all black suit. "Hello Riley." He said with a smirk that I wanted to slap right off, but i was too scared to move.

"W-Who-wha-what a-are you?" I managed to stutter out. "The names Crowley." He said in a strong British accent, but it had something else. Scottish? yeah, that was it. "And I," his eyes flickered black. "Am a demon." "Where's my mum?" I demanded no longer terrified, I dont know why, I should have been shutting myself right now but now I was pissed. " oh that's simple, just look up. He gestured with his eyes, which were now focused on- oh my god! "NO!" I cried. There was my mum. Stomach slashed open, on the ceiling. "YOU BASTARD!" I looked over to Crowley, but he was gone. just as I looked around, the ceiling bursted into huge,  bright flames. I had to get out of there. I was crying as I grabbed my phone and called emergency services and after, I called issie.

(One hour later)

The fire was put out and Issie was still with me. "That was a demon that killed my mum." I told her in a low whisper so no one else would hear, even though there weren't many people around still. I was nervous she wouldn't believe me. "I believe you." She looked me straight in the eyes. She only did that when she was telling the truth, or if she really meant it. A wave of relief swept over me. I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding. And hugged her "thank you." Was all I could say without completely break g down in tears. "I'm gonna hunt that son of a bitch." I told her. "And everything else that gets in my way." "No." Issie said quietley. "Not without me." She looked at me with determination. I knew she wouldn't give up so I took a deep breath and thought about it. Fine I said reluctantly. Go pack your things I'll grab my car.

(15 minutes later)

We had all our stuff packed in the car. My room was downstairs and hadn't got burned thank god and i managed to get all my clothes and everything I would need without the ceiling collapsing. I asked back out to the car. A jet black corvet stingray. I loved this car more than anything. " You ready to go?" I asked Issie. Issie nodded. "Okie then, let's go." and with that we got into the car and drove away not sure where to go but we didn't care. We just drove wherever the road went.
