Arianna's POV

I reached the gates of the school. People were standing near the entrance in groups. Some of the girls wore skimpy clothes and many guys were standing around them. I rolled my eyes. Grabbing my luggage, I walked in and was tripped by a tree root. "Woah!" Instead of falling onto the floor, I felt something soft underneath me. Blinking, I looked up to see two striking beautiful blue eyes. "Hey." He whispered. "You okay?" I nodded my head. He had auburn hair, which looked so messy it was like he has just woken up. His lips were curved into a smile. His eyes were blue and looked like the ocean. It was mesmerizing just looking at them.
"Not falling for me, now, are you?" He smirked. I pulled back and snorted.
"You're not that good looking either."
His jaw dropped. Now it was my turn to smirk. But my smile subsided when
I saw his eyes turning pitch black. "You listen to me. This is my domain here. If it wasn't for me, you would have fallen with your face flat on the floor. Got it?" He growled softly in my ear. His voice was so dangerously calm it sent a chill up my spine. I nodded. His eyes turned blue again bit I could still feel the power that he possessed. Brushing my skirt, I muttered an apology before rushing off to the hall.

Tyler's POV

I reached school, and the usual crowd was at the entrance. Bea, one of the girls there walked up to me. "Hey, hunk want a drink?" She said seductively as she held out a glass of what seemed to be wine. I rolled my eyes. I started to walk in when the smell of vanilla hit me again. This time, it was much stronger, heading my way. I strained my neck to look and saw a girl walking towards me. She saw Bea and rolled her eyes. Ace snickered. She's a fiesty one, eh? I smirked. Soon, I was enveloped in her smell. I hid in a corner to wait until she passed by.
Instead of her passing by me in a few seconds like I expected, I heard someone scream and immediately rushed out of my hiding place. Bracing myself, I positioned myself such that she would fall on me. "Ooof!" She grunted as we made contact. She looked up, shocked by the fall. Her brown, cat shaped eyes were mesmerising. Her blonde hair was all over her face and I couldn't help but tuck her hair behind her ear. She blushed. I could not help but smirk. "Not falling for me now, are you?" I sneered. Instantly, her look turned to one of annoyance. "You're not that good looking either." She snorted. The comment made my blood boil. Ace wanted dominance of my mate, and I was sure that my eyes were pitch black as I growled softy in her ear. "Hey, this is my territory. If it wasn't for me, your face would be flat on the floor now. Got it?" She looked down instantly and nodded. I felt guilty of scaring her like that, but Ace would hear nothing of it. Brushing her skirt, she hurried off to the direction of the hall. She's new. Ace said. I shrugged and started walking towards the hall to get my room number.

Arianna's POV
Just thinking about him made me shiver. Those black eyes, how did he do that? The power that he had... I could still feel it. It was surprising that he didn't wring my neck when I said that one sentence. He looked ready to murder. I shook away the feeling and tried to see how long it was until my turn. The queue snaked across the room. Every once in a while someone would start humming a ridiculous tune and the person in front would tell him to shut up. Just then, I heard my name.
"Arianna Blake. Room 167." I reached out and snatched the key before rushing off to find my room. As I turned around, I bumped into someone.
"We can't make this a habit, can we?"
I sighed. It was him. Great. Only 30 minutes had passed and I had bumped into him twice. I rolled my eyes and ran off and started searching for my room.
After like, 10 minutes, I still could not find it. I mean, it was freaking 10 minutes! How big could this place be?
Just when I was about to give up, I saw another group of those girls who I didn't like. For a while, I was debating in my head whether to ask for directions and get humiliated, or to continue searching and possibly, miss the first class. I cleared my throat. "Umm, excuse me, where is room 167?" Some of the girls glared at me like I was a piece of trash. One, however, stepped forward. Rolling her eyes, she said. "Its two turns to the right and one turn to the left, Newbie."
Some of the other girls giggled. I could barely stop myself from shouting at them. Muttering a thanks, I walked away.
After what seemed like ages, I found the door to the room and inserted the key into the lock. Almost immediately, the door opened to reveal a girl in a white crop top and red shorts. Her hair was dyed blue and her green eyes twinkled. "Hey roommate!" She yelled, engulfing me in a hug. I was stunned. "167?" I asked, confused.
"Yep!" Ok...i thought. This could take a while...
"What's your name? Mine's Jessie, you can call me jess." She said.
"Arianna."

"Cool! Maybe we can eat lunch together later?" I nodded. "What classes do you have?"
I showed her my timetable. Her eyes lit up in excitement and she exclaimed. "Yay! We're together for History, Algebra and Biology! See you later then!" I nodded. See you later. I thought as I put down my things and the cupcakes and walked out with my books.
