Pit had slowed his pace to a walk as they neared the Arena, which was even more breathtaking at night. The lights from the inside illuminated the stained-glass windows, projecting the images onto the grass below. Colorful mosaics that each pertained to different universes seemed to glimmer on top of the dancing blades of grass. The whole place seemed to glow, and loud cheers and sirens were heard from inside.

Pit smiled at the Arena and at how quiet it made the newcomers behind him. He stopped before getting to the entrance and turned on his toes, facing the awestruck group before him.

"Alright! This entrance is the Fighters Only arch. All of us have special access to this door to maximize safety! The only thing is: you get fingerprinted so that no fan can pretend to be you and try to get in. Trust me, it's happened before!" He laughed nervously at the memory, winning a few chuckles from the newcomers.

"So when you enter, you'll be printed and then there's a pathway to follow, you can't miss it, and there'll be the section you should remember from the first time we came here! Good luck and have fun!" Pit dashed off without further explanation, causing a bit of panic through the fighters.

Wii Fit Trainer shuffled through the crowd to the front, boldly walking through the golden entrance before she was stopped and printed. Others slowly followed suit, others still speculating whether to enter yet or not.

Shulk pinpointed Robin and noticed he was alone. Realizing this was his only chance to move and talk to him, he tried to make his way through the moving crowd. Suddenly, he was bumped into by Villager, who profusely apologized. When Shulk looked back up to find Robin, the tactician was nowhere to be found. Confused and angry, he changed his search to Lucina, and found her at the front of the line, ready to walk in.

"Lucina!" He yelled, and the royal turned around, easily finding the flailing arms of the person who called her. He beckoned her over, and she threw her arms up in exasperation, but still gave up her place to go back.

"What do you want, Shulk? You chose this as the time to finally talk to me?" She grouchily stated, crossing her arms in annoyance.

"Yes, I know I'm a terrible person, and I'm sorry, but that's not why I called you over!" He rushed through the sentence, voice raising slightly.

"Then what?!"

"Where's Robin?" Shulk tried to maintain his cool composure, but the feeling was quickly fleeing as Lucina looked around the area and a frown formed on her face.

"I didn't see him go in yet, but maybe he did when I was talking to Palutena...why do you even care? You were the one who stopped talking to us!"

"Because I need to talk to him!"

"Well, now you've got to wait because we're at the end of the line!" She huffed, turning her back to him and grumbling under her breath.

Eventually, the two made it inside to the Arena and were underneath all the bleachers, trying to look for signs of the tactician.

Palutena sat alone in the Fighter's Section, legs crossed and mind pondering. Dark Pit had promised to sit with her, even if she forced him to agree. Yet the dark-winged boy was nowhere in sight; she lost track of him after getting into the Arena, yet she still saved a seat for him next to her.

"Are you excited for the Ceremony?" Wii Fit Trainer leaned forward in her seat, placing her hands on the Goddess' shoulders.

"Of course I am! I want to see what all the fuss is about! More importantly, I want to know who is going to be sitting in those three fancy seats there." Palutena pointed out.
