"Theo! Theo wake up!" My mother shook me awake.
"Urgh, five more minutes!"
"You said that twenty minutes ago, now get up!"
"Fine, fine!"
I slowly sat up and tucked my tawny hair behind my ears. I hated getting up, especially on Mondays.
I sunk my feet into my fluffy rug, stretched, then got dressed into my hideous school uniform; White shirt, blue tie, grey skirt, white socks, black boots and a gorgeous blue blazer-not!
I eventually dragged myself downstairs, and by the time I finished my cereal, my best friend Ella had been standing at the door for a good ten minutes.
"Come on Theo! We'll be late!" Ella was getting impatient.
"Chill woman, I'm done!" I grabbed my satchel, shouted bye to my mum, and swept out the door.
We practically ran to the tube station, swiped our cards, got our tickets, and jumped onto the train that took us to school.
The train was full of schoolkids that time of the morning, with the occasional buisnessman, hiding behind newspapers. Me and Ella sat in the corner and talked. We could talk about anything; tv, music, animals, food.
That morning we talked about whether it would snow or not. I was in favour of it snowing, however, Ella, in her know- it- all way, said that it would never snow, not in London anyway. So I bet her a fiver it would.
Although physically me and Ella are different; one has blue eyes, the other has green, I have tawny blond hair and am tall, Ella has red hair and is short, we are the best of friends.
We talked until we got to our stop, then we walked to our school. As we walked I could see from the skies that today would be clear. Bummer. With it being December and all, I was hoping it would snow.
Snow. I thought. Flakes. Icicles. Blizzards.
And all of a sudden I felt a cold tingle down my spine, my eyes turned steely gray, and threads of blue light raced through the ends of my plait.
I gasped- and my breath created a frozen mist in the cold air. Tiny flakes of icy wonder floated down onto my face.
"I told you so!" I exclaimed, turning to Ella.
"Ugh, fine!" Ella sighed.
"I'll let you off- this time!" I winked cheekily.
I tried not to think about what I had just done
AN: I hope you liked this chapter! The pic at the side is what I think Ella looks like! Xx
