Walking into school, my mind wandered to the events that had just happened.

Why had it happened?

How had it happened?

Had I made it happen?

Due to the snow, mine and Ella's footsteps slowed down considerably, and we slid into into school just as the bell went for registration.

We rushed into our classroom and shook off the snow. I slumped into my seat at the back, whilst Ella headed to the front. We used to sit together but we were seperated because we were too chatty.

I sat next to a girl called Arabella, who was possibly the richest, prettiest, but bitchiest person I knew.

She had chesnut hair which she always had down to show off how long it was. Her skin was tan all year round(I suspected sun beds), and she had 'hipster' glasses. If she started a trend, you followed it.

At that moment she wore a hoodie underneath her blazer, and had her skirt rolled up so high, It was a wonder how she didn't catch frostbite.

She scowled at me as I sat down in my seat. I smiled back pleasantly, trying to keep my temper.

She muttered, "ew, can you move over? Your face is actually disgusting!"

"Oh f**k it!", I thought, and whipped my snowy hair in her face.

I immediatley regretted it.

"Miss! Miss!", Arabella screamed, "Theo is being mean to me!"

Our teacher Miss Coy looked up from her laptop with a look that said she was 500% done with me, but also looked vaguely terrified of Arabella.

You can guess who's side she took.

So I ended up standing outside the classroom before first lesson even began.

When the bell eventually did ring, I was off to my first lesson, PE, before I could get ranted at.

PE was my favourite subject, hands down. I was speedy when I ran, quick when I kicked, and strong when I threw.

That day we did running. We had to run outside no matter what the weather, but I didn't care.

When we got outside, our teacher told us that that lesson, seeing as it was the last day before the holidays, we would be doing a cross country run.

Everyone else paired up, but seeing as Ella was in a different lesson, I was on my own.

I ran off straight away, and kept running. I ran until my legs cramped, my lungs burnt, and until beads of sweat ran down my face.

When I was a good two miles or so in front of the others, I stopped to rest on a log.

I felt like my face was melting, and I looked to the sky hopefully for a sign of rain. Nothing.

Rain. Wet droplets. storms.

And suddenly it was chucking it down! I cooled down enough, but the fact I was dripping wet only made me realize how much I longed for a drink.

Out of the corner of my eye I noticed something moving. I spun around and saw that the drops of rain had formed a big raindrop and it was floating toward me.

So? What do you think I did? I ran!

I ran and ran until I could barely see, but I could just make out the finishing line. I broke through the tape and flopped onto the bench.

Only one thought kept running round my mind though:

What power is this?
