James Aubrey X Reader: Ladies Man

Y/N paced around the lab as she stared at her phone. "Finally." She said sliding it to answer. "Hodgins what's going on?!" She said panicking down the phone to her older brother. "Everything's fine, I'm fine but Aubrey." The next thing she heard she wished she hadn't. "I'm coming to the hospital." She said hanging up and rushing out of the lab towards her car. Aubrey was her best friend, well she had a huge crush on him but he would never find out about that.

Y/N sat in the hospital room with Caroline and Hodgins. "He'll be fine." Caroline said rubbing her shoulders. "I know, I just wish I could have been there to help." She said tapping her foot on the floor. They heard a groan making them look up. "You've been watching me sleep?" He said looking at all three of them. "I'll go grab Coffee." Y/N said walking out of the room and towards the coffee machine. 

Y/n stood in the doorway as she watched Hodgins and Aubrey talk. "You know Jessica has been here for you." Y/n dropped the coffee on the floor hearing her name. "Shit." She mumbled. "I'll get someone to clean it." She said before rushing off and out of the room. Jessica. She hated her. Ever since she'd slept with Sweets breaking them up. Now she was going after Aubrey. She leaned against a wall taking small deep breaths trying to calm herself down. When she finally went back into his hospital room the new shrink was there emptying all of her stuff onto his bed. "Your a real ladies man." The doctor said pushing past Y/N and standing in front of him. Y/n walked away again going back to the lab. "Not the right ladies though." Aubrey mumbled.

Months had past and Y/N was now stood in the break area of the lab watching Aubrey and Jessica together. Hodgins walked over to his sister handing her a coffee. "You alright?" She nodded looking at the two of them. "They look so happy." She said sipping the drink. "If you talked to him still you'd know he is." She looked down at her feet. "It's hard thats all." She said biting her lip. "Watching the one you love be in love with someone else" She said taking a deep breath. "I found a new job." She said looking at her brother. "It's in France." She said going to sit on the sofa's. "Yeah?" He asked looking at her. "I was thinking I could takeJeffrey with me, theres a great place there." Hodgins shook his head. "No, he stays here." She nodded before finishing her coffee. "I handed my notice in three weeks ago. It's time for me to leave." She said hugging her brother. "I'm going to say goodbye to everyone." She said standing up and brushing off her pencil skirt. She walked away the sound of her heels hitting the floor as she did so. As she walked past Aubrey and Jessica he watched her intently as she went into Angelias office not knowing it would be the last time.

"You've got the wrong person!" Y/N Screamed as an FBI agent through her into the interrogation room. "Believe me we don't." He said slamming the door. She stood up from the floor and brushed off her jeans. She looked in the mirror knowing someone was behind it. She sat down in the chair and pushed her long dyed red hair behind her head and put her head on the table letting the coldness cool off her hot head. "So Miss Hodgins..." She looked up seeing Aubrey and she rolled her eyes. "We have you for many crimes." She lent back in the chair and stared at him. "Name one." She said biting her lip. "How about leaving the country without a visa, or being caught in a murder investigation." She shook her head. "All mistakes, My Visa is fine and the murder investigation I was 'caught' in. I was helping solve. So if you don't mind letting me go." She said looking at him. "How about leaving the country and not saying goodbye." He said putting down the files on the table and placing his hands on it looking at her. "I said goodbye to the people that mattered." She said standing her ground. "How about ignoring an FBI agent." She shrugged. "He was being a man whore with a slut." She said looking at him while mimicking his sitting position. "That's no way to speak about Jessica." He said. "How is she?" He shrugged. "We're not together anymore." He said playing with his tie. She looked at his tie before looking at him. "Look at that stupid stripped tie you always wear." She said standing up and walking past him. "It's better than changing myself because someone didn't love me back." He said pulling her into him from behind and pushing his hard on onto her bum. "A-Aubrey." She stuttered out before he span her around and bent her onto the metal table. "But I did love you." He said kissing down her neck and biting softly.
