I opened my eyes to see everything surrounding me was as white as snow. No voice to be heard. Everything still and in peace. It felt like heaven. I could tell it feels like this when in heaven even though I have never been there.
I stood up and looked around. I saw two figures coming towards my way. As they came closer and closer I recognised them clearly.
Mom and Dad.
Both wearing white and a smile on their faces as they stopped a few steps in front of me.
"Come with us son", my mom stretched out her hands. I stood there trying to process what was happening. Both looking at me with warm and home coming eyes.
I can't leave them. I want to be with them. Because of them I exist in this world. I can't lose them. I love them so much. I started reaching out for them.
"Ashton"
I looked back to see Luke standing there. Blue eyes looking sad and dull.
"Please don't leave me... "
I looked at my parents and then back to Luke. I can't choose any one side. It was difficult choosing any one. My parents were always there for me since birth and Luke was always by my side since middle school but both means so much to me.
Before I could decide the ground started shaking and a crack was forming under me. I lost my balance, the ground splitting into two under me. I was falling but someone grabbed my hand just in time.

I gluped and looked down while hanging on the edge. Red. Red boiling lava. I could feel the heat on my legs. My eyes widened with fear. I looked up and saw Luke. He tried to pull me up as quickly as possible. I closed my eyes hoping for the best.
