Jack FrostBurn Backstory/Intro

(NARRATORS POV)

In a distant village away from society deep within the forest and behind a great big wall a boy named Jack Frostburn was born. As little Jack grew his mother and father had three more children named Emilia, Cosmo, and Vern. Jack watched over his siblings for he was the oldest among them. Both Jacks parents were skilled Huntsmen and Huntress. Jack was already nine years old while his sister Emilia was six and Cosmo is seven and Vern being the youngest was two. Most of the time Jack and his siblings went to the lake and enjoyed splashing around the water getting them soaked and wet. When they went back home there mom and dad would yell at them for always coming home soaked for they worry they might catch a cold or a fever. One night Jack's life changed where his village was attacked at night by the creatures of Grimm, his parents heard screaming and shouting all over town and as they got out of the house to see what was going on they saw the creatures of Grimm all over the place. They would break into peoples houses and devour and kill anyone within their sights. Jacks parents took action and began fighting off the creatures of Grimm. Jack was frightened and stuck in place for he could not move a muscle for he was witnessing people dying left from right for there was too many creatures of Grimm attacking the village. Since Jack was stuck in place one of the creatures of Grimm saw him and chase after him, while that was happening Emilia screamed loud for Jack was in danger. Jacks mom heard Emilia scream and rushed back to her children as fast as she could, she was approaching her house and saw that the creature of Grimm was in front of Jack looking at him face to face and as he was about pounce on Jack. Jack's mom gained incredible speed and pushed Jack out of the way as she pushed jack out of the way the creature of Grimm slashed Jack's mom with its ferocious claws, she was above Jack and her blood was dripping on his face. Jack's dad appears screaming no! for his wife was stricken down before his very eyes when he had heard Emilia scream and with anger and intent to kill Jack's dad grips his swallow tightly and began dashing toward the Grimm and cutting it in half in one swoop. Jack's dad slowly approaches Jack's mom slowly picking up her cold body and pressing her head to his chest he looks at his children and gathers them up as he is holding their mothers lifeless body in his arms. He tells his children to run away from the village as far and fast as possible for he plans to hold off the creatures of Grimm by himself. Emilia grabs Jack's hand in tears and begins running as shes is holding Vern in her hands, and Jack is holding Cosmo's hand. As they run Jack and his siblings hear their father fighting the creatures of Grimm but suddenly they don't hear anymore fighting behind them and as Jack looks back and sees a creature of Grimm started chasing them. They ran as fast as they could Jack sees a log and rushes over there pulling onto his siblings telling them to stay low and to stay quiet that he would lure the beast away from them so they would be able to escape. Emilia refused to let Jack to do something dangerous, but Jack said if he doesn't do it that they will all die. Emilia started crying as Jack hugged her for the last time. Jack said goodbye to his siblings and began making noise for the beast to hear him. The beast appears in front of Jack, Jack then began running off deeper within the forest as the beast chased after him. After Jack and the beast left the area Emilia, Cosmo, and Vern began making their way out of the forest and headed to the nearest City they could find. Jack began breathing heavily for he was running out of breath, Jack began getting exhausted as he reached a cliff and below him were sharp rocks and water. The creature of Grimm finally caught up with Jack and started approaching him to finally end its chase as the creature of Grimm prepared to pounce on Jack, Jack thought of plan to move out of the way when the Grimm was closest to have it jump off the cliff and fall down onto the sharp rocks at the bottom, but Jack knew he had to be quick and clever if he wanted to be successful with his plan and outwit the Grimm. Jack waited patiently for the Grimm to jump towards him, the Grimm jumped towards Jack. Jack waited a little bit more for the Grimm to get close so he cam then jump out of the way. Jack counted up to five in his head and he ran towards the Grimm and slid underneath him while the Grimm jumped over him and went over the cliff and fell down toward the sharp rocks. Jack then checked the ledge and saw that the Grimm was impaled by one of the sharp rocks he then walks away from the ledge in search of his siblings but Jack had lost all strength in his body and began to lose consciousness and passes out under a tree. Jack had lost his mom and dad, and he had lost sight of his siblings, the village was destroyed and left in ruins. Jack received a scratch leading from his chest and above the belly button  from the earlier attack when his mom had pushed him out of the way. Jack had seen a nightmare come to life before his very eyes and seen the dark side of the earth known as the creatures of Grimm. An old man was passing by the forest and saw tracks of the Grimm and a young child, the old man than searched if the boy had survived. Following the trail of the beast and the boy the old man found the boy and he realized that he knew the boy. For he was the boy's uncle named Bazz (A.k.a Bazaar). Uncle Bazz then took Jack in and raised him like if he was in own son. Jack had woken up in a bed and panicked and got out of bed and tried to sneak out of the unknown house for he has never been to Uncle Bazz's home. As jack could step one-foot outside the door uncle bazz loudly said aren't you going to say good afternoon to your own uncle bazz. Jack turned around shocked that uncle bazz had found him, Jack ran to his uncle and hugged him long and teared up when uncle bazz hugged back. Jack told uncle bazz everything that had happened till recently. Uncle bazz told Jack he did a good job protecting his siblings from the Grimm. and, then Jack told him where he last seen his brother and sisters before the Grimm started chasing after him. Uncle bazz told Jack that it would  be hard to locate and find his siblings for they could be anywhere by now, uncle bazz told Jack to leave finding his siblings to him. Uncle bazz is an instructor at signal and enrolled young Jack at the age of thirteen, Jack out grew his uncles expectations and became the top number one student at signal, Jack had much to learn from his uncle and he undergoing his trials of training with his uncle. Uncle bazz gave Jack a series of challenges to complete, but no matter what the uncle threw at Jack. Jack was able to complete the task at hand no matter what got in his way or what his uncle threw at him. Jack's uncle did not take it easy on his training, he made Jack train in harsh weathers and extreme climates, Jacks hair was dark brown but the extreme climates of the temperature was below freezing point. But, the temperature changed his hair color as white as snow, his eye color went from dark brown to a Silver Blue. each time uncle bazz sent Jack out for training he would resume his search for his nieces and nephew uncle bazz never gave up on searching for them he somehow felt that they were still alive and located somewhere safe away from all the danger. Jack was now seventeen and his uncle approved of him attending Beacon Academy, Jack was accepted into beacon with flying colors. After Jack got word that he was accepted into beacon he wanted to celebrate with his uncle who had taken care of him since he was nine years old to thank him for all he had done for him, Jack was gonna surprise his uncle about his acceptance to beacon when a few hours later when Jack waited for him to show up in the training room another student at signal came in a hurry to tell Jack some bad news. The student told Jack that his uncle had passed away this afternoon when a dust shop was being robbed in the afternoon. After Jack had heard the news, he was filled with rage, anger, despair, depression, and loneliness. After Jacks uncles death Jack avoided people and avoided working in groups of students when he was still at signal for the short time. Soon after the day had came for when Jack would have to leave signal and enter beacon for the time has come for him to move on.

(A/N): I hope you enjoyed this backstory about Jack FrostBurn for I couldn't decide to either put back story or prologue for the title name but i think either one works right? Well I'm really not sure though. By the way the one talking is of course the Narrator. I will now begin the story of Jack FrostBurn when he enters beacon and there will be no narrator talking for the whole story like this one you will see character interactions in the next chapter of this fanfic.
