(Chapter 2) (unfinished)

The swoosh of the arrows through the crisp morning air, the Barking and Howling of the Wolves echoing through the trees and bouncing off the Mountain sides. There was a faint thump, the arrow hit the center of the target. she loved morning practice there was nothing like the cool air filtering through her lungs and the sounds of an awakening Canadian forest. She could hear the river running near by and decided to try some fishing maybe she could shoot a deer or if she was lucky take down a bear! She did not waste the Lives giving to her by the Earth And the One God that had made it all. She would skin the animals and use the fur for clothes or blankets, cook the meat, and grind the Bones and Fat up for the Wolves or just to set out in the forest by a young tree like fertilizer as if giving life back from what she had taken.

She walked on and on the leaves smashing into the soft earth underneath her feet *smoosh, splosh, slosh* a few leaves sticking to her shoes every now and then. The forest was Beautiful this time of year, leaves starting to fall and change color! Green, yellow, orange, Red, brown, Gold even. Watching them all drift down from the tops of the trees slowly but surely, she looked at the ground now, patches of glistening white snow and drops of dew setting on the trees and forest floor making everything Shine in the rising orange, purple and clear blue morning sky. The birds sang their songs and flew up, out, and Above the tree tops as if breaking free from the safety and shelter of the dense Forest. She reached the river she could already see the strong schools of salmon swimming upstream for dear life and for the chance to strengthen their numbers as if there weren't enough of them.

She set up a small bonfire and baited her hook as her father had tought her as a young child. He was somewhat an experts with his strong jaw muscular tough figure that army styled buzz cut and his deep blue eyes. He was a Marine with a high rank, she could never remember the ranks but she knew he was important both to them and to her but especially her. Its was only a short 7 years after her brush with death that he had died at war. A brave man he was he not only died like many others for our country but he died saving his fellow troops. You see a bomb had been thrown at his troops and the absolute only way to save them was to die by way of jumping on top of the bomb and he did so. She used to think that he died because God wanted a brave man like him up in heaven but lately while looking at the tree she thought maybe for me to continue to live someone else had to die, and unfortunately that one person had been her father, She was much like him! Brave strong courageous and as her mother always says good looking. A lie i must add because i got my looks from my mother who was the better looking out of them two. yet when she thought about it over and over again she was a good mix of both parents.

her mother ohh her mother, she had not the slightest clue where she was. the last time she had seen her mother was about a year ago, i had gone off to practice my bow n arrow one crisp July morning heat was steaming up from the ground and flowwing down from the sky. sweat had already began to gather on her forhead and the small of her back, the two places she hated to sweat and yet the first places that got the idea they could let go of there impurities the fastest as if in a race with the other places on her body. her vision was hazy yet she knew her surrounding all two well, she like her dad had to know the places she was most often like the back of her hand or else she felt vunrable and unsafe. nothing good comes from her when she feels unsafe, nothing. she walked along the river banks contemplating wether or not to just jump in. the cool body of water had a magical effect on her it whiped away everything worries, pain, and so much more but most of all, swet! she finally let all worries go and jumped in and began letting the gental current carry her. she had no worry where she would end up if she let it take her, because she knew exactly where it lead, right behing her cabin. finally after a few minutes in the water she found herself behind her house. reluctantly she swam to the bank and began to climb out of the water it seemed to be grabbing her ankles almost as if beggging her not to leave begging her to let it take her so many more places, or keep her from what she was about to find.

the house was dark and empty her mother and all of her mothers belongings were nowhere to be found. things were scattered across the floor a book in the right hand corner a lamp fallen right next to it. the kitchen that opened up to the livingroom by a bar was a mess dished everywhere some broken on the floor all the cabinets open. she began to walk to the back of the house her gaurd all the way up, she stood still for a moment feeling the whole house under her feet trying to feel footseps, trying to feel for any movement. nothing. she stoped feeling and started listening, a door was open somehwere in the house or a window. she listened closer the wind was coming in too softly it had to be a window. she began to walk again listening more and more as the walked deeper and deeper into the house. she heard a click, the sound come from in front of her the wind coming into the house had stopped, she ran to her mother bedroom her dresser was nocked onto the floor nothing left in it her light on and her window, now was closed. she looked around the room, a note, there was a note on her bed.

Dear, Daughter <3

I am terribly sorry for the mess in the house i wish i hadnt left it such a mess for you, i just.... im sorry i had to go. Dont come looking for me!!! you will put yourself in more danger than i believe even you can handle!! i didnt know how to keep you safe other then getting as far away as possible. there where people looking for me because i had you, because of what you are, there are things about you that you dont even know and have yet to find out. You must not refuse what you were born for!

love,

your mother

since I had read that note I had been alone completely, alone. night after night I would walk to the city find a murderer or psychopath and if he or she attacked would kill them in order to rid the world of one more filthy rat like being. the riding of those animals helped fill the void a small fraction, but with the loss of her father and being deserted by her mother there was a gaping pit of depression in her heart. the hole could only be filled by finding out everything she hadn't yet learned about herself and even more so her father. no matter what her mother wrote she wanted to know the truth and soon she would know.
