I closed my eyes ready for the impact of the stairs when, I felt a hand on the small of my back and another on my hip. I opened my eyes to see the boy.

"Are you alright?" he asked. I could see worry in his eyes.

"Ya I'm fine... uh... you can let go now..." I avoided eye contact with him, my cheeks still burning.

"Oh, ya sorry" a slight color came to his cheeks as he brought me to my feet and let go.

" I'm... never mind, call me Lee" he gave me a bright smile.

" I'm Samantha." I returned a smile of my own, " but, you can call me Sam.

" We stare at eachother for a few moments before I realized I was staring. I instantly looked at my shoes like they were the most interesting thing in the whole world.

" You're cute when you blush" I look up to see him staring at me.

" It's not nice to state ya know!" I scold him and he just laughs.

"You're also adorable when your mad."  He looks at me once again, an emotion slipped through his eyes leaving as fast as it came.

"Are you flirting with me? Or are you just trying to be nice?" I ask him with a little joking tone in my voice, I shifted my weight to my left and put my hands on my hips... why am I acting like this? I'm usually in the shadows.

"I don't know." he gave me a smirk, "Maybe it's both."
I smile back, "Well thanks for the compliment."

"You're welcome. I was wondering if you could show me around school? It's my first day and I'm horrible at directions" his mouth went into a strait line.

"Sure why not. Does that count as us being as friends?"

"Ya, and maybe we could be more than friends?" he gives me a sly smirk
"In your dreams lover boy" 'Ya I would like that' I wanted to say so badly.
