20. Bad feeling

I woke up to my head throbbing in pain. I groand and opened my eyes slowly, to reaveal a horrible looking Sam.

I chuckled, but soon winced from the pain. "You look like a complete and utterly mess right now." I say, as I start to mess with his greasy hair.

His head ships up and stares into my soul. "Oh. My. God. You're awake.... Please tell me this isn't a dream."

I leaned down and pecked his lips, ignoring the pain going through my body. "I'm 100% sure it's not a dream, lover boy." I smile.

He instantly stands up and engulfs me into a hug. I can't breath and start to tap out. "Oh my fuck, I'm so sorry! I was just so... Words can't even express how happy I am right now." tears start to fall down his face.

"How long have I been out?"

He looks down, and crasdles his face in his hands, "A month..."

"IVE BEEN IN HERE FOR A MONTH!!!" I yelled, horrified at how long I've been out.

I take deep breaths and calm myself down. "How did it happen?"

He didn't answer... And everything went black... Except this time I knew why.

Sam's POV

~~~Flash Back~~~

I was startled to see Muffin being ripped from my grasp and thrown to the floor. "YOU LITTLE SCUM BAG!! YOU FUCKING WHORE!!"

All I saw was red, as the words spued from her mother's mouth, and before I knew it I had already punched her strait in the face.

I may have vowed to never hit a woman, but this was no woman. This was a monster.

I picked up Muffin and placed her in the car. Speeding down the high way, I ignored all the honks that were coming my way.

I carried her through the hospital doors, "HURRY!!! I NEED A FUCKING DOCTOR!!!"

As they rushed her down the hallway I will never forget the aching feeling in my heart.

The feeling of knowing... Something good wasn't going to happen...

I know it's short but please forgive me. I'll only have a few more chapters before this book sadly ends. I've lost inspiration, and don't know what to right. It was good while it lasted.
