Dear Charlie,
Sometimes I wonder who is madder – the patients or the doctors. A better question, perhaps, would be who is more evil? Of all the patients I've seen in this godforsaken place, only some are deranged. And yet these men of science, these monsters, who have been sent here to scrub out the insanity have they themselves been coated in it.
And I worry for you, Charlie. If your new prison shares any similarity with mine, I know you are in pain. Hold tight. I promise I will get you out. I just need a little more time.
Please remember how much I love you.
Forever yours,
Tommy
