Celaena walked through the square drifting in and out of shops, but today was not a day to buy pretty things. Today she was watching her next target, Daniel Cornwall, his father was Rouke Farran's new second in command. Celaena walked into a bakery when she felt a something sharp poke her side.
"I've seen you following my son," a deep voice whispered in her ear.
"I just wanted to meet him. He's handsome." Celaena said keeping her voice light even though she want to rip out his intestines with her hands.
"Don't act dumb I know who you are."
"My name is Lillian do I know you?"
"Ardalan's Assassin." He said with a sneer.
Celaena was done here. She slide the knife from her sleeve into her hand turned while slamming the bottom of her foot into the bridge of his and before Mr. Cornwall could say a word brought the knife up and slit his throat. The people in the bakery now screaming she dipped her hands in his blood and drew an eye on his forehead.
She turned walked out of the bakery and started to head home. She noticed three men following behind her. She began to blend herself in to the crowd. She swiped a cloak off one of the many stands filling the market. She threw it over herself in a quick motion. A block later she had lost them and made her way home.

Celaena walked into her apartment. She continued walking and wasn't surprised when she saw a man sitting at her table. "Hello Arobyn," she said her voice a flat monotone.
