Human beings are so interesting
We focus on being beautiful and yet
We go back to basics
We focus on being perfect
And yet we are all imperfect beings
By nature and by design
We try being strong willed
But we appear so amusingly pathetic
With our dominant minded views
Sex is our focus in life
Creation and reproduction motivate us to do so
We are merely advanced primates
All of us go back
To the roots in which we came
From the Homo sapiens age
We humans strive for dominance
In a world of conflicting natural habitats
We traded one for another
One of grass and leaves
For one of plastic and high fructose
With our Dasani and Soda
We are still naked apes
Even though we cover ourselves in clothes
We cover our self esteem
We use such simple necessities
Taking not a second thought at all
To realize what we do
We treat our mother Earth
Like she is our own personal whore
That we can rape anytime
We say that we love her
And yet we harm her every day
Like a piece of garbage
Mirror Mirror on the wall
Tell me what you see in us
What do you see mirror
What do you see mirror
Do you see past our lying ways
Do you see our ugliness
We are lonely out here
We are the loneliest of all in here
With our little fairy-tale
We are beasts descending from
Shadows and burning hearts of gold
Lonely flesh vessels of sin
Dust is what we came from
Dust is what we shall return to
In the end of time
HOPE is the manifestation of FAITH.
