Moss POV
"Moss, I missed you. Thanks for taking care of my baby boys." Fern chugged down her tea. She didn't look any different from the day she died except she was extremely skinny and had a gothic skin tone.
"Our sons missed you." I stated and looked at Slater and Finn who were staring at their mother like a newborn puppy. Slater's hand was wrapped inside of his mothers and Finns' head was in her lap.
"This house is so beautiful," Fern caressed her hand on Finns' face. "Just like our sons." She looked up at Slater who was staring down at her. "Slater, you've grown into such a handsome and tall man. I can see the resemblance of your father in you."
"How did you come back Mom? You were dead. Who brought you back?" Slater asked Fern but she just stared at him as if he was speaking French.
"Finn, you grew up to be just like me. I can see you have my big eyes." She kissed Finns' cheek and Finn smiled like a two year old getting ice cream.
"Mom, I missed you so much. I never met you but I knew you would come back. I knew it." Finn exclaimed but I just sat there.
They were so happy to see their mom and I couldn't take that away from them. They never met her before. But I could tell Slater was thinking the same thing as me. Who brought her back?
Hours later
Everyone was asleep except me and Fern. She was helping me put up the dishes and it was mostly silence.
"I missed you Moss, I always loved you. You've been a great father like I knew you would be."
"Who brought you back?" I asked, a tear rolling down my cheek but I didn't let her see. "I know this isn't possible if nobody gave you a soul."
"Finn visited my grave a year ago."
"You been alive all this time and you haven't visited us until now?!" I yelled and she hugged me. I missed her warm hugs but this one was different, she was cold.
"I had to make sure the time was right and when I heard Finn yelling about me coming back to life I knew the timing was perfect."
I stayed silent as I put the plates in the cabinet. The clinking of the dishes was the only sound I heard until Fern wrapped her arms around my waist, hugging me.
"How's Finn and Slater? Do you think they're mad at me?"
I stayed silent as she kept talking. "Are you mad at me?" She asked but my lips stayed shut. "How about we take the boys fishing tomorrow, it would be so much fu-"
"They have school."
"One day won't hurt. Remember all the days we took off for some some fun?" Fern bit her bottom lip as her hand went down my chest. "You're still as fit as when we were young." She smirked and started unbuttoning my shirt. I haven't felt this way with any other woman except Fern but I couldn't do this right now.
I grabbed her hands and pushed them away from me. "I already laid pillows and sheets on the couch for you to sleep on. I should start getting ready for bed." I closed the cabinet and turned around to see her big eyes disappointed.
"Yeah, I guess it is getting kind of late. Good night."
"Good night." I went upstairs and saw Slater siting on the top one, looking at me. I stared back at him and he got up.
"She's nowhere similar to the Mom you told us about," He sighed. "That's not the Fern I know." He walked back to his room and I could hear the door shut.
"Moss?" Fern called from down the stairs. "I don't think Slater likes me."
I sighed and went to my room, I heard Fern turn off the light from the downstairs, signaling she was going to bed. I rolled over and started to cry.
"What's wrong with you Fern." I said to myself as a wave of tears went down my cheek. Why was I in love with that woman! Why?! Why is she making me feel this way?!!

VampiriMoss stared at me, his eyes glowing a vibrant kind of green. He ran his hand through his brown hair and grinned at me. "Didn't I tell you to stay out my room?" He said while lazily walking over to me with a limp. "I'm sorry..uh- I'll leave now!" I...
