"Can I please kick Ghirahim out of here?" I pleaded to Vaati. After what happened an hour ago, I wanted to forget it and act like nothing happened. But considering the state of that room, it will never happen.

Vaati sighed. "I'm starting to toy with that idea, but I owe Ghirahim several favors, so that is easier said than done."

"What did he do?" I asked.

"Lots of stuff, but I don't like talking about it," Vaati's voice turned sour at this point, so I presume that Ghirahim saved his life at one point.

"Want help with the paperwork?" Vaati asked after a few quiet seconds.

I shook my head. "Nah, I'm good."

Vaati frowned. "That's more the normal amount of paperwork I would expect you get. Are you sure it's from Zelda, and not someone else?"

I sighed. "I've been wondering that recently."

Vaati pulled a binder out. Grabbing some of its contents, he dumped them in front of me, covering the forms I was signing. "Ignore that stuff you're signing. Look at this instead."

"I just see Ganondorf's castle, possible formations to take it down, the entire layout of Hyrule, the agents in their positions, and other worlds, how they might affect Hyrule, and some agents positioned in these locations," I said, somewhat intrigued.

Vaati held a watch. "Five seconds. Impressive. It took me about eight seconds."

"I'm a warrior," I told him. "I have to make split second decisions to ensure my survival."

"I see. Can I ask you a question?"

"What?"

"Want to help me run my organization?"

I thought about it. It could be risky... Vaati was a "villain" to the eyes of Hyrule and I could get arrested for , but I see that he had no choice to do his current crimes- Ganondorf forced him to do it, after all (Vaati told me this yesterday and Shadow confirmed it). And also, his decisions saved many lives...

"I'll help."

Vaati nodded. "Glad you're in. Sorry for using this place as a base."

"You didn't wreck it."

Lexy stuck her head into my study. "Vaati, can I put stuff in the mansion?"

"Ask Link. It's his house," Vaati replied.

"Link, can I put stuff in the mansion?" Lexy asked.

"Like what?"

Lexy thought for a second. "It's easier if I show you. It's in the kitchen." She ran downstairs. I looked to Vaati, who merely shrugged. Sighing, I got up and followed her, with Vaati at my heels. After I entered the kitchen, I almost had a heart attack.

Containers of all sorts of drinks lined the tables. Lexy sat at the table with cups and was bobbing her head to music.

"What the heck Lexy?"

"I wanted soda, caffeine, and sugar. So I went shopping on back home."

Vaati sighed. "Warn us next time you bring stuff here."

"Like the other animes I haven't brought here?" She asked as she shut her phone off.

"Yeah."

I picked up a bottle. "What's Dr. Pepper?"

Lexy grabbed the bottle and poured a tiny bit in a cup. "A cool drink. Try some, although I prefer ice with mine."

Vaati picked a can that was labeled "Red Bull", and poured half of its contents into a cup as Ghirahim entered. "What is going on? I was trying to fix my fabulous party room after someone - Lexy - shot it."

"Lexy had a sugar-craving and brought soda here," I replied. "Have you seen Alicia, Sheik, Shadow, and/or Aryll?"

"No."

Vaati downed his drink and began to gag. "Gah!"

Lexy ran to his side. "What happened? Are you okay?"

"What the hell is in that drink?!" Vaati asked as he shoved the drink away.

"Guess you can't handle caffeine well," Lexy muttered as she picked the can up.

"What is caffeine?" I asked.

"Dunno, but drinking lots of it gives you so much energy that it can make you super hyper and you crash later," she admitted.

Ghirahim began to pour himself a glass of root beer. "Not a fabulous idea if that were to happen."

"How old are you?" I blurted out suddenly, curiosity taking a hold at me."

"20."

"You act like you're 19..."

"Who cares?" Lexy asked. She turned around and froze. "Where are my drinks?"

I looked up and noticed that two cans were missing from every location, along with what looked like espresso shots.

Ghirahim sighed. "That was so unfabulous."

"Who took my espresso shots?" Lexy asked angrily.

"I didn't do it," Alicia muttered quietly.

I jumped back. "When did you get here?"

"Two seconds before my statement."

I sighed. "Could you stop it?"

"Stop what?"

"Appearing randomly."

"It's a habit," Alicia admitted. "I can't sneaking up on people like that."

Sheik entered the room with a confused on his face. "Did someone else just see Aryll and Shadow run by?"

We all looked at him. "What happened?"

Sheik sighed. "Well, they have a bunch of drink and downing them like crazy-"

"Thats's not healthy, safe, or convenient for them or us," Lexy interjected. "Let's take the drinks away."

We all nodded and followed Sheik.

An hour later, I was glaring at Lexy. "No more caffeine. Ever."

Lexy nodded. "I agree. Can I ask you a different question?"

I turned to see Shadow and Aryll running around like maniacs. They had an espresso each and like 3 Red Bulls each, and we let them outside to avoid having the mansion burn down. "Ask away."

"What was the contents of the letter that Zelda gave you?" Lexy asked.

"Invitation to the ball," I admitted. "Wanna be my date for that?"

Lexy looked at me, taken aback. "Why?"

"I'm not going with my sister or a stranger, and Zelda's out of the question. Alicia didn't want to go."

Lexy nodded. "Just as friends, correct?"

"Correct."

Lexy yawned. "I'm going to bed. Later."

I nodded, and waited for Aryll and Shadow to pass out...

Reina: Link needed someone to go to the ball with him. That's all. He won't date Lexy.
