Reina: It's been so long that I really looked at Ghirahim's My Roommate?.... So much so that I forgot that about Lexy.
Also, I wrote this chapter a few years before Fire Emblem Fates.....
Chapter 9: You're not suppose to be here!
Vaati
I walked over to Zelda and held my arm out. "Would you like me to take your coat, milady?"
The White Knight got in front of Zelda and glared at me. "Don't even think about laying a hand on the beloved princess, peasant," he growled.
I flinched. Jeez. That was harsh, coming from a knight like that. Was this really Zelda's love interest? She could do better. Or rather, she should have. But then again, I cannot control someone's emotions or dictate who they love... And I doubt that Link would love her now...
Zelda glared at the White Knight. "It's all right. He was merely offering assistance." She smiled at me, and took off her coat, revealing her green dress. She handed me the coat and smiled at Link. "Lead the way, Link."
Link nodded and led Zelda, Aryll, and the White Knight to the dining hall. I was putting Zelda's coat up when Shadow came to me. "What now?" He hissed. His eyes were filled with worry, and I can't blame him. Link was right. This might be a diaster after all.
I was about to answer Shadow when I saw a maid wearing a dark-blue dress and a frilly apron walk towards the dining room. I cursed. Damn it! Why was Lexy here? I thought I told her to do another assignment, not come here! She could jeopardize everything!
"Attend to Link and the others," I commanded Shadow. "I'll talk to her." I pointed to Lexy.
Shadow's eyes narrowed in her direction. "I thought she was suppose to be in Gerudo Valley keeping an eye on the Gerudo, not acting like a maid! Just don't kill her or scare her," Shadow asked as he turned and left to assist Link.
"Why would I do such a thing," I asked myself as I dashed over to Lexy and grabbed her arm. She looked at me in shock, and I dragged her to the room that I used for strategy. I locked the door so that no one could hear us and glared at her. She gave me a confused look, irritating me.
"Explain yourself Lexy," I told her after a few seconds.
Lexy glared at me. Her long strawberry blonde hair was up in a ponytail and her grey eyes tried to scare me, but it failed. She sighed and began talking.
"I came back here to bring my report to you about the Gerudo and saw a carriage parked nearby the mansion. As to avoid getting noticed, I entered through the kitchen and snuck into the servant's supply area, where I found this outfit, and you know the rest..." Lexy looked at me, waiting for my response.
I thought about her response and nodded. "I see. Sorry if I dragged you. You see, we had a bunch of stress going on, and it has yet to disappear."
Lexy frowned. "Who's here?"
I mentally smacked myself for not telling Lexy immediately. Some people may have figure it out who was here, but Lexy and I know that there are multiple people (and agents) in Hyrule who use carriages, so it could have been a neighboring lord or another agent for all she knew, so I had to tell her. "Princess Zelda and her 'friend', the White Knight are visiting us," I said after a few seconds.
Lexy squealed. "Yay! I can finally meet the princess!" She tried to run off, but I grabbed her shoulder. "This not the Zelda you think of. She is different, and she brought a person who thinks highly of himself, so it would be wise to not approach them or Link and Aryll. He is called the White Knight."
