Death Note 2: Daughter of the Shinigami King and Queen

So, you're stalking me now?

This time I dropped my bread. This spirit was the most freakiest one I ever saw. It had black clothes on and black wings. The face was really messed up. It keeps smiling and it's black hair defies gravity. I tilt my head to the side. "What are you?"

It laughs and points at me with it's black fingers. "You Asoka?"

It's voice sounded like a guy. I gave him a weird look. "Yeah, Asoka Park. Why would a dead guy like you follow me?"

He laughs. "For entertainment and my name's Ryuk. I'm a shinigami that's going to watch over you."

That caught me off gaurd. "A-A Shi-Shinigami? What does a Death God want with me? I can't die yet!"

Ryuk laughs and shrugs. "I was just ordered to watch over you, but it's funny how you can see me. You have to touch my Death Note to see me."

I sigh trying to get this all in my head. My phone rings, "Can't Nobody" by 2NE1. I check the caller ID and I felt like that my soul had left my body. I slowly press the accept button and put it close to my ear. "Yeoboseyo?"

"Come on you know I can speak some english." The horrible voice that I used to love answered.

I sigh and fold my arms. "I'm blammoing you if I miss my part time job."

"That FBI agent thing right?" I hear him chuckle a little. Anger boiled inside me. "I'm hanging up know." I hanged up before he could say anything. "I need to put a song for that idiot on my phone so that I'll know it's him."

Ryuk flies over me and points at my phone. "Ex boyfriend?"

"Yeah, I don't know why I still have his number." I sigh and check the time. I start running towards the police investigation building. Damn I'm late! I'm totally blaming him for it and Ryuk, but no one will believe me. I open the double doors and run up to the counter lady. I slam my paperwork on the counter. "Registration for assistant detective!"

The lady pops her pink bubble gum and gives me a piece of paper. "Sign here and go to room B34 to take your picture."

I sign and smile. That was easy. I turn around and yelp to see Ryuk behind me. The lady gives me a weird look and then goes back to her computer.

I glare at Ryuk. "Why do you keep following me?!" I whispered to him as I walk up the stairs.

Ryuk laughs. "Because if I don't, I'll get killed by the Shinigami King."

I stop in my tracks. Where have I heard that before? Maybe in some song or fairy tail book that mom read to me. I shake my head and then continued to walk up the stairs.

Five minutes later I found the room to take my picture. This is going to be exciting! I open the door and see a couple people in there. Ryuk laughs. "Looks like you have to go through a test."

Screw these people, they just want the money. I line up with them and take out my phone to record some things if they were important. I put it back in my pocket right when a guy with white hair and white clothes came in the room from a different door. He looked like he was in his early 20's. A girl with short brown hair and green eyes, wearing glasses and a work outfit follows behind him.

"Well it seems we have five people who want to be an assistant detective." The women says. "Right Nathan?"

He just twirls some part of his hair and sighs. "I only need one, Maggy."

Maggy pushes up her glasses more and nods. "Right."

She snaps her fingers and five men walk in holding one piece of paper. I blink, as one of them gives me a piece of paper. Why did Maggy ordered five people to give all of us one piece of paper? Unless she's lazy or just showing us her authority. The five men bows in front of us and then leaves outside.

Maggy clears her throat. "This case is made up, but all of you five contestants have to find out who is the killer by the given places of clues and info. Come back tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. with the answer!"

Everyone salutes except me. I was checking which direction to take to look at the fake dead body of the victim. It's near the Big Ben and the only way to get there faster is by the England tour bus. It isn't that much to pay for a ride. I wonder what type of fake dead body it is. It might be a dummy or just the skeleton?

"Excuse me, um Asoka Park?"

I get out of my daze and notice that everyone has left except Maggy and Nathan. They stare at me and I stare back. Nathan takes out a little puppet finger and puts it on his pointer finger. The puppet finger look like a boy with a brown hair, wearing a mask and baseball hat. The interesting part was it had a letter 'K' on it. "Do you know what this is?"

I look dumbfounded. "It's a finger representing the killer?"

Maggy gives me a shock look, while Nathan had just a slight shock in his eyes.

"That's right." Maggy whispers.

Ryuk laughs. "No wonder you look familiar, Near."

I turn to look at him. "What are you saying?"

Nathan gives me a suspicious look. "This finger puppet has been used for the Kira case."
