I See Something That is Impossible

I can't take this...THIS IS CRAZY.

Jason is driving like a mad man! I squint my eyes shut for any upcoming impact from any cars. But so far nothing happened! Jason chuckles on my right. "I have never met a girl who shuts her eyes when I'm driving."

"Just shut up and drive normally for Pete sake's!" I yell.

Ryuk laughs at me. "Oh this is priceless! You're actually scared!" He continues laughing like a mad man.

"...shut up..." I glared at him. Jason looks at me weirdly.

I glare at him also. "What."

"Just wondering," He slowly moves his index finger near his head, in a circle motion. "You're not crazy right?"

I push his face forward to look at the road. "Eyes on the road or we'll be bloody killed."

"Since when were you the boss of me?" Jason he steps on the pedal, making me want to punch him for driving too fast.

I felt my eye twitched in annoyance. "Since I let you drive."

"Well, you don't have to worry now since we're at the entrance of the airport." Jason turns and sure enough there's the sign to prove that he was right.

Finally! I sighed. Now I can relax now, since he's not driving over the limit!

It took about ten minutes to get to the entrance since other FBI agents and competitors were in front of us. Near and Agent Maggy walks over to us. Agent Maggy smiles as she sees me. "So I guess you're not backing out."

"I decided that I shouldn't back out because of the shock about my parents." I am tempted to activate my eyes to see Agent Maggy and Near's information, but I didn't. It didn't seem right to do that to my superiors.

"So you have already met your partner for this case." Agent Maggy pats my shoulder and nods her head towards Jason. "Let's solve this case more professionally than just a test."

This is a joke. I can handle this case easily, but since this case is more dangerous than any other cases I took. They didn't involve any murderer though.

"EVERYONE GET ON YOUR KNEES!"

Panic screams fills the once calm airport. A man wearing a ski mask, holds a machine gun in the air and shoots. I get on my knees and duck my head under my arms. Jason, Near, Agent Maggy, and everyone else does somewhat the same motion as I did.

"Now would be a good time to try those eyes." Ryuk chuckles. He flies over to the masked man and hovers over him. "Kill him."

"No!" I exclaimed and got up. Wait, what am I doing?!

"What the hell Asoka?!" Jason whispered.

"YOU!" The masked man then points his machine gun at me. Turn On, I thought. I can feel my eyes feel a little stressed. Name is John Migher, 45 years old. I skip his life until a few hours ago. I gasped.

"John Migher, I know your family are hostages. But the police can help you." I put my hands up in the air. "You didn't have to rob a jewelry store."

"What are you a demon?!" He yells walks over to me.

"Those so called friends of yours will die for what they did." I lower my hands and put my right hand on where my heart is. "I swear in the name of the law. Tell me their names and they will perish."

"Are you Kira or something?" The man lowers down his machine gun.

"If you continue on this path, your family dies and so will you in the next 15 hours." I explained. How did I see his future? It doesn't make sense...

"They're my step brothers, Steve Migher and Julian Migher." John finally gives in.

I think of those names. "They will turn themselves to the police."

"How do I know you're not lying?" John lifts his gun up and i put my hands up also. He doesn't know I took out pepper spray and put it in my sleeve. I took it out when I swore to him.

"Ask the workers to turn on the new channel." I told him and readied my pepper spray from lowering my hands.

"TURN IT ON!" John screams at the workers and they did exactly what they were told. Scared pigs.

Wait did I really think that.

The news pops up.

"We just received that two men had turned themselves in!" The reporter said.

He points a t a house. "They came from out of that house and called the police of what they did. Now hear this! They were keeping hostages of their younger step brother's family, this man John Migher,"

A picture of John Migher pops up on the screen. "Had to steel from a jewelry store as payment to save his family. We just got word that Steve and Julian Migher are now being question as to how they suddenly decided to turn themselves in."

"How?" John puts his gun down and smiles. He turns to look at me with tears in his eyes. "Are you a saint?"

"What a joke!" Ryuk flies above the man. "He'll be pissed at your answer."

I shake my head. "I am a psychic. A way beyond power like no other."

I push down his machine gun until he dropped it. I gasped. The safety was already on? That means...

"You didn't want to hurt anyone." I said with a calm smile.

Next thing I know John is escorted back to his home to see his family again. I on the other hand, am struggling with what had happened.

Did I really see the future?
