Three days later my grade got to go to CJ Berrymores for a field trip. It was really awesome getting to climb the rock walls, ride go carts, play in the arcade, and hang out with my friends outside of school. Brianna and I waited in the go cart line for an hour and a half so we could race each other.
Then I climbed the rock walls with the other Sara while Brianna went to get food and find her friend Krista. After we finished with the outside stuff and eating, Brianna and I headed inside for the arcade. Our parents had given us extra money to get playing cards. That's when I ran into Mitchell.
I was heading for the upstairs part of the arcade when I saw him with his friends. When he saw me his face turned from a smile to a natural face. I didn't want to be near him after that so I told Brianna we should go find the new roller coaster they added. I hadn't seen it outside when we were out there so i wanted to find it.
After getting distracted by the inside bumper carts we finally found the roller coaster. It was a quick 60 second ride for a 45 minute wait in line. We took a little walk and found the putt-putt golf which I really wanted to do.
We got our putters and gold balls and headed for a row. Brianna was impatient and didn't want to walk to number one first so we went from 18 backwards. She had lost her gold ball in the water on number 15 so while she went to return her putter I went to the final hole. As I looked up I saw Mitchell looking at me from the lane in front of me.
I made it into the center circle first try then returned my putter and started to head back with my friends Macaylee and Brianna when i heard "Sara!" from behind me. I ignored it thinking it was someone else calling for their friend with the same name until they said it again. This time I looked back to see Mitchell standing on a huge rock with the putter in his right hand and the golf ball in the other.
In front of a lot of people including some of our friends he yells, "Sara! My answer is yes!"
