Sasha and Laurence

Neko's pov

I stood there in wait while Zenix and Gene just stared at each other. I can't believe I told them that. It just kind of slipped. I jumped when Gene said something. "There's no way unless..." he started but didn't get to finish because the same guy who stopped me from killing Jason jumped out of the bushes. At the same moment, a girl with white hair and purple eyes jumped out too and they ran at Gene and Zenix. Their swords clashed and as they fought I knew this wasn't going to end well. The girl was doing well against Gene but the guy was struggling to stand against Zenix. I knew I had to help in some way. I transformed into my Shadow Knight form and ran towards the battle between the guy from earlier and Zenix. I knew I wouldn't stand a chance but I couldn't just stand there. I tackled Zenix to the ground and surprisingly kept him there. Thinking swiftly, I knocked him out with one blow. I got of him and saw the shocked faces of the guy, the white haired girl, and Gene. The girl realized Gene was still up and knocked him out. "Wow, you must be strong. Especially if you managed to knock Zenix out with one hit." said the white haired girl. "That's what happens when you live on your own." I said. I immediately regretted saying that because I knew where it would lead. "Wait, what--" she started but the guy interrupted her. "Don't worry about it, Sasha. If she wants us to know she'll tell us. Anyway, you're that Shadow Knight who I encountered not long ago, right?" he asked turning to me. "Yeah." I said. I realized it was becoming night. I switched back to my normal self. "Sorry but I can't talk right now. Gene started to say something before you guys came out of the bushes. I actually wanted to hear what he had to say." I said. "Why? He's a jerk and if I were you I wouldn't want to listen to anything he has to say." said Sasha. "He may be a jerk but I have a feeling he was talking about my parents. I never really knew them because they abandoned me at a young age. Anyway, a word of advice. You should really get to know someone before judging them." I said. "What are you getting at?" asked Sasha. "I'm saying Gene's not actually that bad of a person. Neither is Zenix. I know what your thinking, I'm crazy. Actually I've known them long enough to know their not that bad. They just don't remember me." I said. "I'm not going to ask what that means but I do have something to ask you. You tried killing that boy because he was being mean to you but in the end you became friends, how?" asked the guy. "I wanted to kill him because he made me feel like I was worthless and would always call me names. I've kept my anger hidden for so long I couldn't control it and attacked him. When you stopped me I snapped back into reality. I made friends with him easily because even though I tried to kill him, I spoke with sincerity. He could tell and accepted it. Anyway, that's not important. I'm more focused on who I am than anything else. I honestly feel bad having to do that to Zenix." I said. "Interesting. Well, my name's Laurence and this is Sasha." said the guy. He gestured to the white haired girl. "It's nice to meet you. I'm Neko...Hey Laurence, tell Dante and Nekoette I am glad I got to see them again, okay?" I said. He looked a little confused. "Okay?" he said. I smiled and ran off. I slowed down and walked through a particular neighborhood. It's the one Aphmau, Aaron, Dante, Kawaii~Chan, and Nekoette live in. I kept to the shadows a little since I didn't want them to see me. I had seen some kids with their families through windows. It looked like they were having a good time. I hope one day I'll have a family who cares for me.
