[A/N: 4th and last poem for English Performance Task (3rd year HS)]
Words aren’t enough to describe how I feel,
it’s like my thoughts are overflowing but my mouth has a seal.
A knife in back is stabbing,
yet I still feel nothing.
I wonder if I should be called dumb,
when in the first place, I wasn’t actually numb.
I chose to make things passed by me as the air,
because of things I cannot bear.
There’s a thing everyone should know.
You shouldn’t just go with the flow.
Looks can be very deceiving,
Your perception, you should know when to stop believing.
A smile can hide a thousand tear.
You should not always believe on what you hear.
There’s always more than what meets the eyes,
because most of the times underneath things there are lies.
