Sinister Angel

[A/N: I wrote this poem during the late part of 2012, when I was in 2nd year HS.]

Everyone was deceived by her look.

Everyone’s trust she took.

That’s their biggest mistake,

allowing their trust, for her to take.

Unknowingly some are shot in the skull,

her victims she never cull.

She is an angel to everyone,

yet always a friend to no one.

You thought the angel was a friend,

who could offer a friendship with no end.

May be you thought wrong, so as the angel did,

or may be not because the angel tried her feelings to bid.

The angel is not a good person.

She is no better even as a companion.

She lied and pretended.

In the first place this friendship should’ve never started.

The angel knew you love him,

but she loves him even if your world goes dim.

She hid how she truly felt,

hoping that anyhow her feelings would melt.

But that wish was not granted.

She did not get what she wanted.

She’s a sinister angel to suffer,

because it’s the only thing heaven has left to offer.

She does not deserve him and his affection.

Long before, she should’ve done her confession.

She does not deserve you and your trust.

She’s nothing to this world but a dust.

To deny how she truly felt, she’s asserting,

to remind you you aren’t the only one hurting.

Now on her could you put the blame?

How? If you know all her life she has been on flame?

May be no one can see,

but if she could she would flee.

She feels like into pieces she was torn.

Making her wish that she was never born.

May be you can’t forgive her,

she did not tell you even if you care.

Everything slowly explodes in her head.

Inside she’s nothing but dead.

May be he won’t love her.

After all, she does not deserve happily-ever-after.

She was left with nothing.

She’s tormented by everything.

Could anyone forgive her?

Would anyone love her?

No one would,

because no one could.

Who she really is, no one is sure,

but swear to God, her intentions are pure.

Through this poem, your thoughts about her may not be leaven,

but mind you, the devil was once the most beautiful thing in heaven.

She’s guilty, for her feelings won’t subside.

Now, she’s left with the  thoughts of suicide.

Need I say more?

She’s judged. So, what for?
