**Charlottes prov **

"Charlie!" I parked my truck to see Embry running towards me and pulled me into hug as I got out "gah loca feels like I've not seen you in ages" I giggled and hugged my best friend "em you saw e yesterday" he shrugged at me and we walked towards school, "normal plan for 5th period?"  em sighed leaning against my locker, I nodded "you mean the plan we've done every Wednesday for two years?" I smirked at him he rolled his eyes at me "always so sarcastic" in nodded and made my way towards gym.

5th period

I stood near my truck waiting for em as normal "I swear that boys never on time" I mumbled to myself playing with my sleeve out of boredom before I heard heavy foot steps and I looked up to see Em smirking at me "yknow one day you might actually be on time" I laughed as we climbed in and made our way to the beach.

    walking down the beach Embry took my hand in his like always after a few minutes I felt him tense and I didn't need to ask why as i heard them too Sam and his 'followers' I looked at Embry to find him staring staring something ask followed his eye line I saw he was staring at Sam and Sam was returning it, "ignore him" I mumbled squeezing his hand lightly "I can't anymore char, its like he's watching me waiting for me even just like he did with Quill...."I signed at the memory of the day Quill went with Sam

**flash back**

”QUILL PLEASE YOUR NOT THIS STUPID!" I had screamed at him "CHARLOTTE HE'S HELPING ME WHY DON'T YOU SEE THAT" he had ranted in my face "LAST WEEK, LAST WEEK YOU WERE TERRIFIED OF HIM! CAN YOU NOT REMEMBER THAT?" "YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND!" "THEN TALK TO ME!" "I CAN'T" "OH WHY DID BIG BOSS SAM TELL YOU NOT TO TALK TO YOURS FRIENDS ANYMORE?" "FUCK OFF CHARLOTTE SERIOUSLY FUCK OFF AND LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE"

**flash back over**

"your not like Quill" I muttered he smirked slightly "Quills not like Quill anymore" I nodded sadly, we carried on walking down the beach until it started getting dark "Em you sure your okay?" I put my hand to his forehead "your hot" he smirked "well thank you" "seriously Em" he took my hand away "honestly I'm fine just a headache"I nodded "come one lets head home".

      "want me to drop you off?" he shooke his head "I'll take the short cut though the woods" "okie dokie" I waved as he got out and walked towards the woods.

" Embrys prov"

I sighed wishing this headache would  piss off "it won't go" a voice said from behind me, I turned and saw Sam "what do you want Uley" "Embry your gonna need my help, it would normally be down to your father but he's not around anymore so its down to me as a friend and the alpha" "your no friend of mine and alpha of what" he sighed and walked towards me which for some reason pissed me off "your sleeping more,getting headaches, your body temperature is higher than normal...am I right" "piss off sam" he went to put his hand on my shoulder and something in me snapped but he carried on "and the only time your calm is near Charlotte" "DON'T SAY HER NAME" I snarled through gritted teeth just before i heard a ripping sound then I must have passed out because everything went black.
