Black Eyes

Rachel's POV 🎒:

Rachel sighed, bored out of her mind in a window sill in the big house. She put her pencil onto a piece of notebook paper- just to not be as bored. She couldn't deny her boredom, couldn't train with Percy, due to him being in a date with Annabeth. She didn't really know any of the seven that well, and she did not want to talk to her father! She sighed, pushing her wild red hair out of her face. She didn't even look at what she was drawing until now, it was Reyna.

The girl she had been staring at for 3 days. Her black eyes shone like coal, her hair like obsidian almost. The pencil doing her color hair and eyes perfectly and making Rachel feel mushy inside all over again. Then, as if magic, Chiron had called. She quickly signed and abandoned her sketch then jogged to him.

"Yeah?" She asked, eagerly wanting something interesting to do. "Can you get Reyna for me, we have important matters to discus." Chiron asked her, Rachel nodded. But walked toward the dining hall slowly. Rachel saw Will and Nico Chasing each other, and other things she wasn't sure what to do about. She saw Reyna, sitting at the Hades table. Her eyes glossed, as if tears were trying to escape. Even the tears made her look beautiful. Rachel blushed, preparing herself to walk up to her crush.

She took a deep breath and walked toward Reyna. Reyna instantly got rid of the unwanted tears. "You must be Reyna.." Rachel said, trying to sound confident. Reyna looked up. The girls eyes were like obsidian, polished and shining. Her hair like coal, meat and braided. Rachel noticed her lips were making Reyna stare. Rachel desperately tried to control her erge to just asked her out and kiss her in front of Will and Nico. "Y-yes I am.." Reyna replied shyly, Rachel instantly knew Reyna was nervous. Then Rachel grabbed her hand,and gently lifted her off the bench of the Hades table she had wanted to just sit next to her in.

Her heart fluttered, "follow me." Rachel demanded in the nicest voice she could muster,and she started pulling Reyna toward the big house. Nico and Will- still in their own little bubble- didn't notice Rachel was leading Reyna away. Reyna pulled back, "W-who are you?" She asked, blushing madly. Why was she blushing?! Rachel thought as confused as Reyna. "Oh yeah!" She said, her face lighting up, she had mentally face- palmed. How could she forget to tell Reyna her name! She cleared her throat, "I, am Rachel Elizabeth Dare! Oracle of Camp Half-Blood." She said, shaking Reyna's hand. Reyna gripped it, treasuring the time she had with Reyna's hardened hand, touching hers. Rachel smiled shyly, and lead her to the big house- once again.

"Chiron! I've got Reyna!" Rachel called, Rachel took the time to secretly look at Reyna. Reyna had on a camp half-blood shirt, marvelously pulling off the bright orange. Her hair was in a neat braid, put on the side of her left shoulder. Her eyes were beautiful and sparkling in the Big Houses light. Rachel, noticing Reyna staring at her, walked to the door, embarrassed by her mistake. Rachel knocked, causing it to open. "Yes, oh hello Miss Dare. Thank you." Chiron said, his beard freshly trimmed and he still smelled like coffee. "You may leave now Rachel." Chiron said, eyeing her knowingly. She blushed sheepishly. "S-sorry... bye Reyna!"

She said waving at Reyna and left the Big House. Her cheeks bright red as she sat on a chair-on the Big House's porch. Rachel secretly waited for Reyna, just to get to know her. She told her self, "Maybe in a way I could ask her on a date..?" Rachel thought out loud, "Ask who on a date?" Will asked, Rachel swearing he had appeared out of no where. She jumped, Will was smiling like he had just won a million dollars, "No one!" Rachel said quickly, getting more embarrassed by the second. "Come on Rachel....tell meeeee!" He pleaded like a 3 year old boy. Rachel shook her head, "Fine, don't tell me. It's just, that secret girl of yours that you want to ask out mayyy be told...along with the rest of Camp Halfblood, and Camp Jupiter!" Will said, starting to walk to the cabins.
