Why did Jesse save me?
I was always bullying him and his friends but he still saved me?

"Whatcha thinking about Aidan?"

I hadn't noticed that Maya and Gill had come over.

"Why did Jesse save me?"

"Because he has a biiiiig heart and wants everyone to be friends."

Maya stretched out her arms to indicate how big she ment.

"And he has a crush on you."

Yeah maybe they where right, I mean I know that he has a big hea- wait. What did Gill say. Oh. My. Notch.

"It's so obvious that he has one, even Maya can see it."

"WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSE TO MEAN!"

"What I mean is that Aidan is in love with him and that he need to talk with him when he comes to visit tomorrow."

"H-How did you know all this?"

I was quite shocked that Gill knew about it, not even I knew about it until he mentioned it.

"I can see the signs."

(Jesses Pov)

I was coming to pay a visit to the sky city people and see how the blaze rodds are doing. To be honest I'm really scared, I realized that I have feelings for Aidan and was planning to tell him tomorrow but I don't know if he likes me back.

What if he doesn't like me back!?
What if he hates me!?!

No don't think like that Jesse! You gotta stay positive and brave! Your going to tell him tomorrow and that's it!

~time skip~

I walked through the portal that led to sky city, I found it with the help of the altlas we got from Haidrian.

Sunshine greeted me when I came out on the other side.

"Welcome back Jesse!"

I looked to my right and saw Isa the founder and her pet chicken Benedict.

"Hi Isa! It's nice to see you again! How's it been?"

"It's been perfect! Everyone is so happy to finally get to build and explore! Me and Milo have been making some rules that everyone has agreed with."

"What kind of rules?"

"Only those who have the proper training get to defend the city from the monsters, it's forbidden to be out at night and no griefing."

I smiled at that. Not too many rules and a sense of freedom amongst the people.

"That sounds great Isa!"

"Come, let me show you the city!"

Milo was waiting for us at the gates of the town.

"Hello Jesse!"

"Hi Milo!"

"Isa, I'm going to get some more cobblestone I'll be back shortly OK."

Isa leaned in and kissed him on the cheek. I think I'm missing something...

Milo walked away with a goodbye.

"Oh! I almost forgot to tell you that me and Milo has gotten together."

"Oh. Lucky you are to have such a great guy at your side!"

~time skip~

"Hey Isa? Where are the blaze rodds? I would like to talk to Aidan."

"Here follow me."

We came to a house and of birch wood with cobblestone roof.

"Here it is! They all live together so you won't have to look for them all."

"Thanks Isa! See you later!"

I waved goodbye to Isa and Benedict then turned and knocked on the door.

"Coming!"

Came a muffled voice from inside.
The door opened to reveal Gill.

"Oh! Hello Jesse!"

"Hey Gill, nice to see you! It's been so long since I've seen you guys! Are the others home by any chance? I would like to talk with Aidan, not that I wouldn't want to talk with you guys!"

"It's okay, Aidan's in his room. Here follow me."

I followed Gill to a door further into the hall. We came to a door with a sign with the name Aidan on it.

"He should be in here"

"Thanks Gill"

Gill turned and walked away. I raised my hand and knocked on the door.

"One sec!"

The door swung open a few moments later revealing Aidan.

"Oh! Hi Jesse!"

"Hi Aidan!"

He invited me into the room leaving the door slightly ajar.

"So hows it been?"
He asked.

"It's been good, how about you?"

"Good."

We stood there in an awkward silence. I finally mustarted the courage to tell Aidan how I felt about him.

"Hey Aidan-"

"I was wondering-"

Our sentences crashed together.

"You go first"
We said at the same time.

"You go first Jesse"

"Um... ok. I was uh... kinda like like you"
I said awkwardly.

"I... I like you too Jesse."

"You do?"

"Yeah"

"so uh..."

"wanna be my boyfriend?"

"Sure"

We had the biggest and gooffiest smiles on our faces.

We then heard Gills and Mayas voices on the other side of the door.

"I told you they'd get together today, you owe me 10 bucks."
Gill was talking to someone.

"OK you win."
That was Maya.

Aidan went over to the door and swung in open to reveal Gill and Maya.

"You guys are so dead now."
Said Aidan darkly.

"Hey Jesse catch!"

He threw me a bunch of snowballs.

"Let's get these intruders!"

He got out his own snowballs and we started to throw snowballs at them.
I had to get going soon but I promised to be back soon. Aidan kissed me goodbye and I almost felt bad for leaving. As I stepped through the portal I turned around and waved goodbye to everyone then threw a snowball each at Gills and Mayas faces.
