Chapter 2

"Liaaaaaaaaa! " Jack screamed running towards me.

"Jaaaaaaaaack!" I screamed running towards him. The others were used to our stupid behaviour but the fact that we were in the middle of town caused us to earn a few strange looks. Oh well! Me and Michelle had just got off the bus and we were heading I to town where we spotted the other four. In our group there were six of us: me, Michelle, jack and his older brother Matthew and Tyler and his older brother Lucas. We were best mates.

Michelle is obsessed with everything girly and fashion and makeup and I think is the world record holder for the amount of hello kitty owned. She wanted to be a makeup artist when she grew up and used me as her model.

Jack is my best guy friend. He is into football big time and is one of those cocky popular guys at school. He's the captain of the football team too.

Matthew is a bit of a nerd and is into computers and stuff and will probably one day invent a weird piece of tech or something. I have no idea what goes on in his head.

Tyler insists he's not gay just extremely camp. If I ever have a wardrobe dilemma then I go to him! He's confident and sassy and if anyone insults him he will bitch fight to the death!

Lucas is a ladies man and gets every girl he wants, even the ones he doesn't! He used to tease me a few years ago but we became close and now he's kinda protective over me and mish. Awww!

We walked around town for a while and after eventually getting a Starbucks, we met in the city hall and sat on a bench. Michelle was leading an argument between her and Lucas over why girls wear makeup. Although I loved them all, I was practically falling asleep. I noticed jack looking at me. When we made eye contact his mouth turned upward in a grin. He edged closer to me and whispered

"Wanna play truth or dare, only minus the truth?"

" your on!"

I leaned against the door panting. I had just run up seven flights of stairs and was hiding from jack. I looked over the balcony and saw Michelle still leading her makeup campaign and Matthew had now joined in. Poor boy! I started to get my breath back and tried listening in on the argument. Poor Ty looked like he wanted to kill himself. Oh. Perhaps I shouldn't joke about that. These guys were the only people who knew about...that. Apart from my parents of course but yeah. I hadn't told cath or anyone at school. It was a shame mish didn't go to my school. Matthew and jack do. Jacks in my year and Matthew is in sixth form now. I'm still mates with cath and everyone but I'm nowhere near as close to any of them as I am to these fools! I sighed and smiled everything was ok now

" arrrrghhhhh!" I screamed. Someone had grabbed me from my waist and was pulling me off the balcony.

" help me! Mish help! Oof." I had been dropped on the floor and turned around to see jack behind me, laughing his head off. I sat with my arms crossed and pouted.

" it's not funny! I thought you were gonna throw me off or something!" I shouted.

" chill! Oh my god you should have seen your face!" And he burst out laughing again! Rude! He noticed my facial expression and pulled me up.

" phew!" He sighed, recovering from his laughing attack. He started walking off but I stayed rooted to the spot.

"Hey li, aren't you coming? " he asked.

" nope. You hurt my bottom." I said, simply. He looked at me for a second and then raised an eyebrow.

"Come on then." He said and bent over slightly. I smiled and jumped on his back.

" piggyback tiiiiiiiiime!" I yelled. I heard him laugh as we went down to the others. They had finished their argument and were now coming over to us.

"There you guys are! We were looking for you!" Matthew said.

"Oh we thought you were busy picking nail varnish colours. Btw I thought that you would suit a nice green matty." Jack stated. I struggled not to laugh. Matthew had a weird phobia of the colour green. He thought it was bad luck or something!

"Haha very funny now can we please go? I need to finish some media coursework and-"

"Yes we get get it!" Jack sighed cutting him off.

"Plus I have dance practise so I better be off too." I said. We all set off to the bus stop and said goodbye.

"Hey li? I'll be at sandy's later on too so I'll see you there!" He smiled. I laughed at him.

"Ok see you there!" I told him. Then the bus came and I got on.

Okaaaay everybody hope you enjoyed! I'm really sorry if the story is boring so far I'm working on it! I promise it will pick up a bit soon I just need all the important characters to be introduced so please bear with me!Thank you all for reading and I will update soooooooon :) (by the way please comment any suggestions you have for the story)
