Third Person POV
It was raining as a small gathering of people dressed in black stood around a freshly dug grave, crying. Two girls, both with blonde hair, cried into each other's arms. A couple of feet away stood an older, much sadder, version of the two girls, with a black veil over her face. This is the now smaller Ash family.

Maddie's POV
"Do I turn you on at all when I kiss you baby? Does the sight of me wanting you drive you crazy? Do I have your love? Am I still enough? Tell me don't I, or tell me do I baby..." Dang alarms. "Turn off that dang alarm!"Uh oh, I woke my twin sister, Haddie, up... Well sucks for her because I am making her run with me this morning! I yell at her, "No! Get your lazy butt Up! We're going running, then getting you ready for your date with Wyatt!"
She and Wyatt have been dating for two years today, so they are going on a date for their anniversary. He is taking her to a new fancy restaurant. His twin brother, Zac, has been my boyfriend for a year and a half so we are just going to tag along and make it a double-date.
"Uh fine." I hear Haddie mumble. Its going to be a long day.
(Time skip to when they are running...)
"We," I hear Haddie pant, "need to," pant, "stop," pant, "for water." My lazy twin sister breathes out. She is already tired and we have been jogging for only five minutes.
"Fine, see that bench up there by those trees?" I point to a bench about 30 yards away. "We will stop there."
"Fine." She says. We get to the bench and sit down. Haddie takes out her water bottle and down all of it. She looks at me with puppy dog eyes., telling me that she wants my water.
"No, save it for the next time that we stop." I say. I hear rustling in the bushes and cut her off by slapping my hand over her mouth and putting a finger to my lips.
Usually I wouldn't mind the rustling but this is bigger than an animal. Haddie takes my hand off of her mouth after nodding her head.
"What do you think it is?" She mouths. "Something big. Maybe even a person." I say back.
"What do we do?"
"Run!" I mouth. We get up and as we are about to take off, someone grabs me around the waist with both arms. I look over and see Haddie in the same situation. We get thrown into the bushes that were just rustling.
"MOM! Help! Somebody!!" I yell as loud as I can. Right after I hear Haddie scream at the top of her lungs.
"Shut up you imbeciles!" I hear a deep voice say. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. The other one has dark brown hair and brown eyes.
"Uh, yeah, what he said?" The dark haired one says, confused.
"Now, what are your names?" Says the blonde one. I cannot believe that this is happening. Its absolutely terrifying.
"Um my name is Maddie and her name is Haddie." I say.
"Y-yeah." I hear Maddie stutter out.
"OK, lets get out of here, then." The blonde says.
"But how?" Asks the dark haired one.
"We obviously need some sort of transportation." Says the blonde like he is talking to a little kid.
"Oh," the dark haired one drags out. Then he continues, "So a lamborghini?" He asks. Uh oh, sounds like they are going to start arguing.
"No you idiot! Horses!"
"Well, how are we going to get horses?"
"Lets think. Were robbers and kidnappers. I don't know?! Maybe we'll steal them! I need a smarter assistant."
"Hey!"
"Lets go..."They finally stop arguing. The dark haired one pulled two bags out of his black sweater pocket. I know exactly what he is going to do. I push Haddie behind me, "No way are you putting those on our heads."
"Really? You think that you are in charge here? No, you are not. So, the bags will be on your heads." I start to protest but the blonde cuts me off. "Ah, ah, ah, no arguing."
I nod and they come and put the bags on our heads. Everything is dark so I know that Haddie is freaking out. She is deathly afraid of the dark.
"Haddie? Are you OK?" I hear her sob. Then she finally starts talking.
"No. I-I-I can't breathe. Maddie! Help me!"
I start to reassure her, but someone cuts me off. "Your fine! Jesus, its just a bag." It sounds like the blonde.
"She is hyperventilating. Get the bag off of her head. Or she will pass out." I say, though it is muffled by the bag.
"Fine. But only because were here." I hear rustling then a deep breath. And another. Then I see a harsh white light and flinch. I close my eyes then open them, blinking a few times to adjust to the light.
Once my eyes have adjusted, I see that we are at a farm. There are horses and cattle everywhere you look.
"Where are we?" Haddie asks.
"None of your business." The blonde says.
I decide that I should try and lighten the mood and say a phrase from my favorite childhood show. "How rude!"
"Hey! Isn't that from Full House? You got that from Full House! That's plagiarism!" The dark haired one says. Uh... he is such an idiot.
"Would you please be quiet you idiot?" The blonde says. And then Haddie agrees.
"Yeah! Please finally take the advice of your boss!" I say. I am getting really tired of all of the stuff that is going.
The blonde one starts to talk; "I'm going to trust you watch over them while I go get horses. Don't give them anything. And if you have to, use gunpoint."
The dark haired one begins to protest. "How come I always have to babysit the victims? You always get to have fun!"
Wait, hold up, are they who I think they are? Haddie looks like she has come to the same conclusion as me. I give her a questioning look and she nods.
The blonde starts to talk but I cut him off, "Because I'm the bo..."
"Wait, are you the... the........"

Hey everybody! Thanks for reading the first chapter of my book. If you read the dedication like chapter thing before this, you would know that this used to be a script. Well, I have 13 of the script pieces all ready written, but have not started writing the 2nd chapter in book format. So it might be awhile before the 2nd chapter is up.
Anyway, I am going to try asking questions to get you amazing readers involved in my books instead of just reading.
So my question of the chapter is..... Drum roll please...........
WHAT IS A GOOD BOOK TO RECOMMEND TO SOMEONE??? aka, me because I need a good book. I have read everything in my library...
So that was more of an easy question this time, but don't worry, I have a list.
Anyway, thanks for reading. Please don't give up on my book. Blah blah blah. Oh and word count: 1054.
And Thanks lovelies!
