"Family is the most important"

That's a fucking lie, or atleast in my case. I felt left behind. My mom was so supportive when that Shawn shit went down, and now I wasn't even welcomed to my own home.

I looked over at Lauren who were driving her car. She was the only thing I had left. I could not sabotage this. She noticed I was staring at her and she turned her head and met my eyes quickly before she kept focusing on the road. "It's gonna be okay you know" she said softly.

"You don't know that" I snapped, but instantly regretting it. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean sounding so bitchy"

"It's okay" she said and gave me a hurtful smile. "It's not" I turned my whole body so I was facing her profile. "You're actually taking care of me and you're still here, and I just treat you like shit"

"Camila, it's totally fine, I understand"

"It's not..." I mumbled, but she ignored me.

Lauren drove up on their driveway and turned off the engine. She tirned her head and looked right into my eyes. "Camila, I love you"

I could feel a tear slipping from eyes and rolling down my cheek. I loved this girl so much and I didn't know how to express it. She gave me a small kiss on my forehead, she understood that I loved her too.

When we walked inside Clara came running from the kitchen and hugged me, she had flour all over her shirt and a big smile on her lips. "Mija, we missed you. There's food, aren't you hungry? You look so skinny, come on let's get you some food" she said while start dragging me and Lauren to the kitchen. Lauren told Mike and Clara long time ago about us and they welcomed me into their home like family. "Mama, Camila's parents kicked her out... Can she stay?" She looked up from her baking. "Not for long though, I'll figure something out very soon" Clara put down her rolling pin, her big smile had disappeared. She walked right up to me. "Mija, you can stay here as long as you want, family isn't about blood, and you're one in this family" she gave me a friendly smile. I broke down and she hugged me thight. Lauren leaned back on one of the counters.

This was my family. They always had my back and always took care of me, so screw this blood related crap.

"Lauren sweetie, finish up here please" Clara broke the hug and looked over at Lauren. "Me and Camila are gonna go and watch some tv and eat ice cream"

"Wait what?" Lauren said surprised. "Yeah your father got this thing called 'NightFlix' and there's movies and series there" Lauren looked at her mom confused "Do you mean 'Netflix'?"
"That's what I said" and then she turned around and walked into the living room. "Come on Mija, there's a show called 'Stranger stuff', you're gonna love it" Me and Lauren met each others eyes. "Does she mean 'Stranger Things'?" I asked her. "I dunno" she laughed.

"Mijjjjjaaaaaaa" Clara screamed from the living room. Both me and Lauren started laughing. "I better go" I said. "Yeah, or else she'll kidnap you" Lauren tried to joke but both of us knew there was a little bit truth in it. "Bye" I said before I slowly walked out of the kitchen.

"Mama, you better not steal my girlfriend!" Lauren screamed from the kitchen.

There is alot of shit in school and I'm actually doing them so like I'll try to update but it's hard lol😂 I actually like school tho
