"Levis POV"

"How's my shorty doing?!"
She clapped her hands together, cocking a brow at her.

Clicking my tongue, slowly undoing the buttoned up shirt. Glancing just at my shoulder- eyeing the deep bite mark.

It's been 1 week- it hasn't healed, along with an odd carvings that had started to form just below where the Burnett had punctured.

"It Just seems to stay the same!" Hanji whined, her gloved fingers poking at the soft flesh. "So? Don't you see the carvings?!" Angerily pointing at the odd Carvings that seemed to be continusally form.

"No, you ok Levi?" I growled, slapping her had away. Wanting to Whack the concern written on Hanjis face.

"L-Levi! Cmon!" I rolled my eyes, quickly slipping my lab coat on with a quick fix to my red tie after getting my button up shirt on.

"No, I'm getting back to work." I snapped, hurrying down the half empty halls.

- Time Skip -
"Erens POV"

1 week.. And 2 days..

The bite should've increased its appeal with any merfolk-- but to the human eye.. It's nothing. Nothing but bare skin.

Humans don't necessarily study merfolk nor come in contact, so we normally don't have to show the design to the human eye.

But he should be here.. Where is he?

My forehead pressed against the cool glass, with my hands pressed against it.

"Where are yo-"

"Fish-brat!!"
My eyes widening to see my future mate angry- his voice booming through the room with the other candidates/coworkers Feeling startled.

  "What is this?!"
Startled to see his slim fingers to wrap around the collar? Of his shirt.. My eyes quickly widening to see the symbols only increase, shaping to a key-- wrapped with vines--

"Explain brat!!" My brows furrowing, glancing up Towards his face. Letting my tail sway--

Swimming up with ease, my head bursting from the water. Letting my hands touch the edge,

"don't get mad."

"Levis POV"

"Don't get mad."

Cocking a brow, turning to the few coworkers left in the room. Shooing them to leave.

they nodded and scurried out, leaving me-- angry shorty --with a fish-boy.

"Explain..."
My voice drifting, his voice echoing through my head. My brows furrowing--

"Your my mate."

"Mikasa's POV"

"Mikasa! Calm down!" armins sweet voice full of panic and assurance--

"How?! How armin?! Erens dead!"
Armin suddenly swaying back, his hands covering his mouth. My head lowering in shame-

How could've I have just let him go so easily? Knowing full well he's dead! Sirens don't leave a single bone left!

"He isn't! He's with the humans!"

My head suddenly snapping up, staring at armin in bewilderment.

"What?!"

Armins head bobbing up and down, his body giving off worried vibes.

"H-he'll be fine.. Wait- if the light is still aflame Erens still alive!!" My eye widening, letting a smile appear-- engulfing armin in a hug-

Your right! Why didnt I think of that?! Once an heir to the throne is upon us- like Eren, he has to light aflame-- a neon blue flame just above the tridents statue!

"T-thank you armin!" He giggled, patting my back.

"But- we need to get eren back! The kingdom will fall apart!" Clasping my hands on armins shoulders before pushing him back-

"You understand? We need to-"

"Don't be rash!"

Startled by the heavy voice-- jean.

Turning to look at Jean behind me, my eyes narrowing. His hand lifting to stop my tongue from moving.

"Don't. The council has been alerted of this- they are already planning to uphold a meeting."
Giving a stern nod, glancing back at armin, his face full of assurance-- yet fear.

"Ok, I'll be back armin.. Watch over the young ones And the kingdom!" He nodded with a soft smile, glancing behind him at the small merfolk- ranging from age to 5 to 8.

"Il be going!"
