The next day Coraline and Wybie had to go to school. They had missed a few days on the trip to the Beldam's land. Everything had been cleared up with the police.

That day in school, their English teacher said that they could have until the end of the week to finish their book.

They sat on the bus that afternoon, all the other kids around them, still taunting and teasing. Coraline and Wybie were so exhausted, they just ignored them because they couldn't be bothered to do anything. When the kids teasing noticed they weren't paying any attention they got bored and left them.

The bus pulled over to the pavement and the two children made their way off the bus. They walked up to Coraline's house and got started on their book. They had decided to write about the adventure they were just in, giving hints about what had happened before along the way.

Within the afternoon, they had completed the book. It was rested between their school bags for the next day.

Coraline's parents sat next to them, waiting for the discussion. They had to decide where Wybie was going to live because his grandma was stuck in the Beldam's land. He had to have someone to take care of him.

He had some other relatives, but they all lived far away. He would have to leave the town to go there, meaning he wouldn't go to school here and Coraline wouldn't have her best friend.

But, some luck arose. Wybie's second cousin's child, of the name Jasmine, who was 19, was looking for a home to live in since she had come of age, and she said she would be happy to move into Wybie's house and take care of him.

So it was settled.

They were all okay.

...

The next day the children walked to school, carrying the book in between them.

They gave the book in at class and Mrs Bell read it through. She looked up, impressed. It had an interesting storyline and a special originality that the other stories lacked. Most of the children just changed the words a little to stories like Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan and other stories like that. She was happy that some of her students had decided to think of something original.

In the end the kids had decided to write what Coraline had been through for the first time with the Beldam. They had decided that if they ever had to write another story, they would write a sequel.

They got good grades and the children were happy.

Everything was normal.
