Ch. 9 Moving?

So it's been about 3 weeks since I had my head shots taken and life has been amazing. Ethan found a girlfriend and me and Grayson and very close and still dating. I'm still really good friends with Nate and Aaron. I also have new friends from my school and from dance. I am leaving right now to go to a photo shoot for pictures to send to my auditions. I am going to audition for the Phantom of the Opera in New York. When I get there they had an all white background and they showed me my outfit. I was in shock

I walked out and I said I felt like a piece of tin foil or an astronaut. They said I looked really good though so I went with it and they took pictures. They then needed me to have dance pictures of me in pointe shoes to send as well so they know I can dance in pointe. These were what they looked like.

When I saw them I was so impressed and I really hope they choose me to play the lead female role of the opera. But I just found out there that if I do get the part then in 2 months I will have to leave and move to New York till the opera is over in 8 months so I will always be there and available. I haven't told Grayson that yet because I don't want him to be nervous or sad that I might be leaving. I have to leave in 2 days to go to New York and do my acting and singing auditions. And if I make it far enough I will have to dance with the top 5 finalists. I was told the thing that might kill me is my grey hair. But they told me I can wear a wig if I make it far enough. In spending all day tomorrow at dances I me and Gray are going out for pizza tonight and I am going to tell him I might be moving for over half a year tonight.
I got dressed in black shorts with tucked in red tank top and tall black knee high boots. When I drive to his house and I went up to his apartment door Ethan answered the door.

When we were eating our pizza I figured I should tell him what is going on.
Me/ Gray there's something I need to tell you.

Me/ So I may be moving to New York in 2 months and I will have to stay there for 8 months.
G/ What?! Why might you have to move there?
Me/ I might get the lead role in the Phantom of the Opera in New York City. I might not take the role though...
G/ Why would you pass an opportunity like that?
Me/ I want to be with my friends here and most importantly, I want to be with you. I'd miss you too much!
G/ I would miss you too, but this is a huge opportunity for your career and I don't want to stand in the way of that.
Me/ I guess I'll have to think about it, but they need an answer in 2 days or else they'll find someone else.
