[discontinued] Anubis | Tokyo Ghoul X Reader

•Chapter 7•

{Some stuff is out of order and the dialogue is totally off, but it still follows the story line}

Y/n stood with her hand on the counter, quietly listening to Touka's lecture. Touka was in the middle of scolding Y/n about being late on her first day,  only to be interrupted by Kaneki.

"Kaneki~," Y/n smiled, fixing Kaneki's messy tie. "So, Kaneki, I heard Takatsuki Sen is having a book signing down at the library. I thought maybe you, Hide, and I could go there sometime."

Kaneki stuttered out a "Maybe" and was sent back to work by Touka, who was not having it today.

Her her perked when she heard her ghoul name on the tv. She turned around to see the news report.

'The gender of the infamous ghoul that has been terrorizing the streets, Anubis, has been identified as female by the CCG. Anubis and her team invaded the CCG building last night to break out a very dangerous ghoul. More information will be release-'

Y/n scoffed and turned to the counter, sipping on coffee. "I don't get it," said Touka from behind the counter, "why does Anubis do the things she does? It's just strange..."

Y/n just shrugged, coming up with millions of reasons why she does what she does, but kept her mouth shut. "So I was thinking," the the h/c haired girl, "how about we watch a movie at my apartment. Y'know, if you're not busy and all."

Touka nodded and a rare smile graced her face. "I'd enjoy that. How about toni-"

The girl was cut off by a very loud sniffing sound. The place was almost empty, besides the workers, so no one was around to freak out. It was someone Y/n hadn't met yet, but knew the name of. Tysukiyama.

The tall, purple haired, male strolled in, eyeing Kaneki with a sharp gaze. Damn, he was creepier in person.

"Well, well, fresh meat. But, you smell different... you're not a normal ghoul." His eyes scanned Kaneki's entire body, basically eye-raping him. "Welcome~!"

Tsukiyama turned to Y/n and smiled again. "Well, don't you smell delightful!"

Touka scoffed and pushed away the purple haired male. "What do you want, Taukiyama, " she demanded more than asked. THE said male chuckled.

"As you know, I'm looking for new ones to join my little party. It'll be great! So I thought; Hey, I heard rumors about a new server, might as well check them out. So I'm here now, ready to offer Mr. Kaneki to join me." He slipped a purple card into Kaneki's hand and strolled to the door, stopping to throw a wink at Y/n. "You can come too, if you'd like."

Y/n shuddered and turned to Kaneki. "I wouldn't go if I were you. He's a fucking creep," Y/n muttered the last part.

"Listen to Y/n. That man is bad news," Touka agreed.

---Time skip---

That night Touka came over to Y/n's to watch the movie. The movie they decided to watch was "Joe Dirt".

During the middle of the movie, the doorbell rang and Y/n groaned, getting out of her comfortable spot on the couch. She sleepily looked through the peephole and gasped.

Uta stood outside with a band in one hand and the other hand in his pocket. His eyes were covered with shades, despite the darkness outside, but she could tell he was staring straight through the peephole and right into her eyes.

Y/n creaked open the door and slid outside, still in her shorts and hoodie. Uta held up the bag and Y/n took it hesitantly. "How'd you find my apartment?" Y/n whispered so Touka wouldn't be disturbed.

Uta shrugged, "I followed Touka over here. It's your mask, I hope you like it. Nice shorts by the way." Without another word, Uta walked off into the dark halls and Y/n grumbled and returned to the living room of her warm apartment.

Touka curiously looked at Y/n who set the tan bag onto the coffee table. Opening it, she pulled out a mask. The mask only covered the upper portion of her face. Half the mask was a powder blue while the other side was a light silver. A blue butterfly sat on the side of the mask, giving it the beautiful touch. The mask was skillfully crafted and Y/n, even though she already had a mask, was grateful for the time Uta had put into the mask.

Attached to the mask was a price tag, but instead of a price, written on the tag was a phone number. More specifically, Uta's phone number.

Touka smirked and elbowed Y/n, teasing the female. Y/n let a tiny smile creep on her face, and Touka's face immediately fell into a scared one. "You tickle me and you're a dead girl!"

Y/n gently put the mask down and turned to Touka, putting her hands out in a "im about to tickle you" position.

The two ghouls ran around the apartment for about an hour, having great fun.

What they didn't know was that the next few days weren't going to be going as planned...
