Ava pov

In French

"Ok class so today we are going to be starting a 3 day project. You will have partners, but you will not be picking them I will," said Mrs.James

Oh no this won't be good

"So in group one we have Adriana and Michele, next is Sarah and Jane, Bethany and Makenna, Eva and Frank,
Patrice and James."

Dang it I'm not with my best friend. But wait there are only 2 names left! Oh no!

"And last but not least Ava and Jackson. So I want all of you to get with your partners and I will pass out the instructions for the project."

Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!! I'm with Jackson!!! This won't turn out well I'm going to be so damn awkward!!! Why does god hate me???

"Hi Ava", said Jackson shyly.

Omg he's so cute when he's shy.

"Hey" I say if I'm not interested in this partnership even though I am.

Ugh what am I going to do!

"So are you ready to work on the project?", he asks.

"Yep sure"

Time skip to end of French

"Alright class you may pack up and disperse among your selves with your friends."

Yes finally! That was sooo awkward!!! I have to tell Adriana about this!

"Hey so how's the project going for you?", I ask Adriana.

"Good and how are you and Mr.lover boy over there? (She makes a winking face)"

"Ugh shut up we are just friends sort of?" I say annoyed. She makes fun of me all the time about this.

"Whatever sure you are."

"So are you ready for fashion design?"

"Ready as I'll ever be" she says as the bell rings and we walk to fashion design.

Jackson POV

Omg I'm partners with Ava for the project. Yay! I'm so excited! Finally a situation in which I am being forced to talk to her and her to talk to me.

"Hi Ava", I say hoping she didn't notice my shyness.

"Hey"

Oh I just love her voice its so soft and smooth.

"So are you ready to work on the project?" I ask

"Yep sure", she says like she's annoyed.
Oh no what if she doesn't like me as a person or friend and she's mad that I'm her partner? What am going to do?

As Mrs. James signals us that it is time to pack up Ava rushes to her best friends side without even saying goodbye.

The bell rings and time head to fashion design where I am in my own little world and I can ignore everyone in the real world. I can just focus on my designs and the shape of Ava's body since my designs are based off of body types like hers.

After school

Ava POV

As I stand by my locker about to leave for guard practice since its Friday and I have a performance tonight Jackson comes up to me.

"Hey Ava can I talk to you for a second?"

"Uh sure it make it quick I really have to go."

"Uh OK... So will you go on a date with me tonight?"

Sorry for not updating for a while I've been busy and now I have mid-terms this week but I will upload another chapter either later tonight or tomorrow I don't really know I might want to keep y'all waiting.
