Chapter 1

Ugh it's so hard to focus with him on my mind!

"Ava!" Called Carolynn waving for me to come closer.

"Hey Carolynn what's up?"

"What's your problem today?" Asked Carolynn

"Nothing what makes you think there is a problem?"

"You've been acting really weird lately, spacing out and stuff. Wait are you thinking about him again??"

I made a face at her and she realized her answer.

"Look you need to stop obsessing over him it's not worth it. I mean you won't even talk to him, all you do is stare."

"No I don't!" I said in denial not even convincing myself.
"I can talk to him if I want to, I just choose not to."

"Exactly my point, if you are not scared then you would've talked to him by now" Carolynn said starting to get annoyed like she does when we start talking about this subject.

"Ok fine, yes I'm scared to talk to him. I just don't know what to say." I said finally admitting to it.
"Look I gotta get to French Carolynn I'll talk to you later, ok?"

"Ok fine but this is not over" Carolynn said as she walked away.

Omg why does Carolynn have to do that every time she sees me it's starting to get annoying. Whatever I just need to get over it and get to French.

"Bonjour" the teacher, Mrs. James, said to the class.
I didn't look up I was to busy journaling random stuff in my notebook as the class responded to her.

"Well class I have some exciting news for you all today!" Mrs. James said, I still didn't look up until I heard what she was about to say.

"Today we have a new student, he isn't new to the school but he transfered from another class to ours!
So please welcome to our class Jackson Edwards."

My head shot up as I heard that name!
That name was the name of my crush I've had for a few weeks and now he is in my French class!!!!!
Omg!! I don't know what I'm gonna do!

"Now Mr. Jackson you can take that empty seat next to Ava, Ava can you raise your hand please?"

Oh no, did she really just say my name!!!
I raise my hand as she had asked and saw him walking over to the empty seat next to me.

As the class passed on I could just feel his presence next to me I want to say something but maybe Carolynn is right I'm just simply to scared to.
Thankfully the bell rang for the end of class I gather my stuff and rush out of French and on to fashion design.
I was one of the few people that got there early, as usual.
I took my seat next to my best friend Adriana and was about to tell her about what happened when Jackson walks through the door to fashion design 1.

Oh no this seriously can't be happening!!!! I shrug it off and started talking to Adriana.

"Adriana! You will never guess what just happened!"

"Ok let me guess, Jackson just joined your French class and now he has to sit next to you?" Adriana asked realizing that i forgot that she was in my French class as well.

"What.. How did you know?!?" I asked shocked.

"Ava I'm in your French class too. So I was there when it happened."

"Oh I forgot sorry, anyway what am I going to do?!?!" I asked starting to freak out.

"I don't know but right now you just need you focus on getting your designs done so you are ready to start sewing tomorrow. And stop worrying about him!" Adriana said and continued working on her designs.

She's right I have alot of work to do I need to stop thinking about him.
