Chapter 8

*Nialls POV*

I heard someone crying. I woke up and saw Diana Tossing and turning in bed. She kept mumbling Telling someone to stop.

She started to shake and tremble in her sleep.

I shook her awake.

She wakes up with a loud gasp.

She brings her legs up to her chest and starts to cry even harder.

I pull her up against me.

"It's okay Diana it was just a dream! Shhh it's okay baby girl." I whisper to her trying to soothe her.

"No it wasn't Niall! I was dreaming about..about..." She croaks then begins to cry harder.

"Princess it's okay, you Can tell me." I tell her.

"N-no." She stutters

"You'll feel better after you do." I coo to her.

"I-it was about m-my uncle raping me" she stutters

I pull her closer to my chest.

"He can't hurt you anymore. Im here to protect you." I say

Her sobs spread throughout her room.

It breaks my heart to see her cry.

I kiss her tears away. I begin to sing to her.

Half way through the song she falls asleep.

I kiss her forehead and fall asleep for a few more hours.

~few hours later

I wake up before Diana and I decided to make her breakfast.

We had the ingredients to make pancakes so I began to make them.

I added chocolate chips and poured her a glass of milk.

I placed them on a tray and took them upstairs to her bedroom.

The door was already open so I walked in and placed the food on her side table.

I went to my room and grabbed one of my shirts.

Okay I know this is weird but I knocked on Liams door.

"Come in!" He says.

I walk in.

"Hey Liam do you have some of Danielle's old clothes?" I ask trying not to get him upset.

He and Danielle broke up 4 months ago.

"Um yeah here." He hands me a box that was semi full of clothes.

I shuffle out of his room and and set the box ontop of Diana's dresser.

I pulled out all the undergarments and placed them in one drawer. Sweats in another. Jeans in one, t-shirts in one and that's all she had.

I guess I'm gonna need to go shopping with her.

I took out a pair of undergarments, sweats and a tshirt and awkwardly placed them in the bathroom counter.

Diana woke up. "Hey" she croaks

"Hey. breakfast is right there and you can take a shower if you like. Your clothes is in the bathroom..." I said and started to walk away.

"Thanks Niall. For everything." She quietly says and begins to eat.

"No problem princess."
