Chapter 17

*Dianas POV*

I started to shake. No this can't be happening. I'm safe here. Aren't I?

My sobs filled the room. I don't want to go back. Niall held me close trying to comfort me.


"N-Niall I-" he cuts me off and kisses me

I kissed back. "Princess I won't let them take you" he says

I decided to take a shower. Niall kissed my head then left to his room.

Shakily I turned on the water, striped off my clothes and got in.

The shower covered up my sobs. I couldn't take it. Niall didn't deserve me. I'm just a fat, ugly slut that no one likes. He's just giving me pity.

After doing everything I needed I got out and did something I haven't done in a while. Cut.

I cut the word. Worthless into my arm.

Blood ran down my arm. I rinsed it then went to my bedroom to change.

I pulled on my undergarments, shorts, hoodie and my hair up in a bun.

Making sure I kept my sleeves down, I went to the living room.

"Hey Ni" I said siting down on his lap.

"Well hello Di" he said back

"Don't call me that it sounds weird." I say giggling

"Fine then I'll call my girlfriend?" He says

"Of coarse." I said giving him a quick peck on the lips.

"What's that?" He Asks pointing to a red dot on my leg.

Blood. It must have dripped down.

"Oh umm nothing!" I say trying to wipe it away

He grabs my wrist to stop me then I let out a yelp.

"Wha-" he says and picks up my jacket sleeve.

"Why Diana? I thought you stopped." He says looking me in the eyes

"I-" honestly I had no words.

"Worthless." He whispers reading the word

"I am." I say looking down at my arm.

"Look at me." He says grabbing my chin.

I kept my eyes on the ground.

"You are beautiful nothing less. whatever your parents said isn't true! You mean everything!" He said

We cuddled for a bit. his words swarming my head. I felt myself lighten up a bit. can it be true?

The door bell rang. "I'll get it" I said getting up

I walked over to the door. I looked out no one was there. Strange.

As I was about to close the door a box caught my eye.

I bent over and picked it up. walking back in I went straight to my room.

My hands were shaking as I opened the box.

Inside was a picture of me and Niall at the mall. I reached in and pulled it out.

Behind it was a note.

My hands dropped the picture. I fell to my knees. I can't be here.
