Chapter Two

Stiles' POV

I woke up from my slumber and a dream that was vivid to me. It was so unlike anything that I had ever dreamt about because I only heard voices or a voice and it sounded familiar. I tried to think of anyone who I knew with a voice like that but no one came to mind. That voice was just beautiful and now I've completely lost my mind because I just thought that. Ugh! I need to stop thinking about this before I give myself a freaking headache. I have more important things to worry about than some stupid voice that I had a dream about. I groaned and got out of bed and made my way to the small bathroom that I had. After finishing my daily routine I went to the kitchen which is another corner in the room to prepare myself a breakfast. I had to reach College earlier than usual because we had to do field work. Its one of the advantage of being a Environment Science student, you get to go out in the a nature and explore. But sometimes you have to go to really disgusting places as well and that is not fun but today we are going to explore The Hale property. It belongs to Derek Hale, a billionaire and people say that he's really hot. But why do I care its not like we'll even meet or anything. He's like 100 and I'm like 2 and I haven't even seen the guy. I really need to go before its late and they leave me behind. I don't wanna bump into some wall of muscle again.

I made my way in the college when my phone started to ring and I took it out of my pocked to answer it. "Hey Stiles!" Scott's voice came through the phone as soon as I hit the answer button. "Hey Scotty. What's up?" I replied. It had been few days since Scott and I spoken last. I called him but he was always with Alison and after a few attempts I gave up. "I just wanted to ask if you wanted to hang out later." Scott said and I scoffed. "Why? Alison can't hang out with you tonight?" I asked rolling my eyes. "Dude I'm sorry okay for bailing on you last time. I shouldn't have done that please for give me." Scott said and I just scoffed. This wasn't the first time that we were having this conversation and I know that it certainly isn't the last one. "Dude please!" Scott practically begged and I sighed. Why can't I stay mad at this moron? "Fine! I forgive you but I can't hang out today. I got some college work. So you'll have to wait." I replied. "Thank you Stiles! You are the best. Just call me when you want to hang out and I'll buy you your curly fries!" Scott bribed which was totally not fair. Everyone knows that my love for curly fries is eternal. "Yeah, yeah. Look I need to go now. Bye." I said and he also said bye as I hung up the phone.

It only took us about fifteen minutes to reach The Hale Property which was basically a large area covered with forests and greenery. It was so peaceful there, maybe I found it peaceful because I always enjoyed nature. When I was at the orphanage I always used to go to this place behind our school, it wasn't anything like this but it had few trees and a really nice small grassy field. It was a really nice place to escape when the bullying got out of hand or when it felt like my anxiety would take over. Nobody ever went there which made that place like my personal natural layer. I broke out of my thoughts when the guide called out for our attention. "Listen up students! Today we are here to learn something about the environment. So what I'd like for you to do is collect five different plants and examine its habitat, and classify each of them according to the Binomial System of Nomenclature. Don't go too far and stay close to each other. You all have to be back here by four. And please don't forget to take some food and water for the journey." The guide said and we all started our search.

Everybody was doing what they were told to and searching for plants and so far I only had two of them collected. I sighed and took out my water bottle to drink water and started walking, the sun was so hot in the sky. I kept walking and found a path that led deeper into the forest, I know that I shouldn't go too far but I need to pass this class with A so I need to do better then everyone. I went down the path and kept walking until I came across a really beautiful place. It had a small waterfall that fell down the lake. It was truly a beautiful sight, the green of the trees and the bushes really contrasted with blue of the lake. After getting lost in its beauty I collected some more plants that I needed and stored it inside my backpack. I glanced at the clock and I still had more or less one hour left so I decide to play with the cool water and enjoy the nature. I mean what could possibly go wrong? Its just for few minutes and I'll head back. I took off my shirt and my pants keeping it safely under a tree along with my other belongings. I then made my way to the water taking my first step into the cool water. I swam a little deeper playing and giggling alone. This is the first time that I felt happy, alone. I decided to forget about everything else that was going on my life right now for a moment. The loneliness, the stress about my college and my job, the empty feeling in my stomach that I always had whenever I thought about who my parents were, the only few friends I have. I forgot about it, not thinking about the and not caring about the future. All it mattered was the moment I was living in right now. And right now I felt happy, happier than I had ever been even though I didn't know who my parents were, how I always had to struggle everyday in my life with no one to love me for me and didn't know how I was gonna make it through tomorrow. This right here is a gift. As someone once said, Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is mystery, Today is a gift that is why it is called Present. And for today I'm gonna enjoy my present.

I glanced at my watch and it was 3:45, shit! I need to get back. The guide said we should all gather at the starting point at 4, only fifteen minutes to go. With a hurry I got out of the water and started putting on my clothes and shoes on. I grabbed my bag and when I moved my feet I fell down hitting my head hard on the rock that was there. I tried to keep my eyes open but failing miserably to do so. I was already panicking and then everything went black.

Derek's POV

I got home from long day of just sitting in my office of my company and decided to go for a run into my back yard which is basically a huge forest. I was told a few college students would come today for their field work or something but they would be on the other side so it didn't matter and they would probably gone by now its nearly 5 p.m. I ran towards a small lake I that was there not to far from my house. Its where I always go to relax because its such a beautiful place. I made my way there and as I saw a body lying on the ground. I immediately made my way to him, his foot was stuck on the root of a tree and I'm guessing why he fell on the first place. I turned him to look at him and gasped. Its him, the guy who bumped into me the other day and couldn't stop rambling. I hadn't got the chance to get a good look at him that day but I knew he was beautiful. I tried to wake him up and he whined a little before opening his eyes. The most beautiful brown eyes I'd ever seen, his eyes widened even more then he was fainting again. It looks like he won't be waking up anytime soon. I sighed and picked the pretty brown eyed boy in my arms and headed back to my house. I'd have to send someone to get his things from there. I carried him to the guest room and laid him on the bed there. He looked peaceful lying there with his long eyelashes touching his soft looking cheeks, with moles dotted like constellations from his cheeks to his neck. He tossed a little licking his lips that were a little dry but full pink lips. This boy will be mine and I'm not giving up until he is mine. He deserves the world and I'm gonna give it to him. I was never the one to believe in love at first sight but I guess I was wrong. I was falling in love and I didn't even know his name.

And also please bare with me on this book as this is the first book that I'm writing so there might be many mistakes and the chapters might be short but I promise I will try to make this book as good as possible and that you won't regret reading this.
