They spent two months for their honeymoon. Those two months were pure bliss. And she knew she's not the only one that was having a blast, Yonghwa too, has a different glow in him.
"Now, my dear wife, the honeymoon is over, it's time to settle down" Yonghwa said. They were inside their newly bought pick up. Their luggage and souvenirs from their trip was at the back.
"So where are we going now?" Seohyun asked.
"Wait and see" they were outside of Seoul now, and now driving up a hill, in a matter of minutes the breeze has become fresh and cold.
Yonghwa drove into the subdivision, the houses were all facing a beautiful view. They went to the spiraling street all the way to the top and the view was magical, but Seohyun felt dizzy, and then her stomach started to churn, her hands and feet cold and clammy, as she started to salivate.
"Oppa, pull over" she said in a hurry
"Again?" He replied. He thought Seohyun had seasickness last week, that's why she was vomiting while they were on the yacht but it was the same as they were traveling by land. He's getting worried since Seohyun's appetite has been lesser too.
"I think we should go to the doctor. Must be from the food that you ate" he said
"L-let's....." Seohyun covered her mouth "Pull over... first"
Yonghwa stopped the car after he assessed it's safe. Seohyun went out in a hurry and vomited. There was nothing but a bitter liquid came out of her mouth. Yonghwa tapped her back, with paper towels and bottled water in hand
She took the water from Yonghwa, and gargled. Yonghwa hugged her, and sat her inside the car.
"Are you okay? Let's go back to Seoul first, let's go for a check-up"
"I'm okay oppa" All she wanted was a warm soft bed
"Are you sure?" Yonghwa was doubtful as he held her hand "You're cold"
"I'm alright. I was just dizzy, must be because of the high altitude. Where are we going"
"It's a surprise. We're almost there... if my memory serves me right"
"And so you're not sure?" Although she was happy being with him, she couldn't help but be irritated at times. Little things seemed to irritate her and she does not know if Yonghwa has noticed it. Although she has been trying hard not to show it to him
"We'll get there" he assured her
Not long enough they are driving up a driveway, as they were on top, it flattened. They stopped in front of a duplex house, it looked modern, painted and landscaped.
"That, uri Seohyun-ie is our nest." He said motioning at the house
Even thought she was not feeling well, she couldn't help but be happy. "Wow! This is beautiful oppa! let's go inside" she was out in the pick-up in no time
An old woman went outside "Are you the new owner of the house?" she asked
"Yes we are. You must be the caretaker, Mrs. Kim" Yonghwa said as he shook her hand
"Yes that's me. But you didn't tell me you were coming..."
"I wanted to surprise my wife" he said his arm around her shoulders "We'll go inside, ahjuma"
"Oppa, how much is the cost of this house?" she remembered the houses they passed by earlier, their neighbors might be diplomats
"Don't ask. Wives don't ask foolish questions" the house and lot was indeed expensive but Yonghwa fell in love with the place
