Shot Two

Sanyukta's POV :

My break up with Aaryan has been the most awful incident of my life. I thought we were going strong and was ready to spend the rest of my life with him until the day I caught him cheating on me with my best friend. I saw them kissing in the store room that too on the day of our first anniversary.

I still remember the day, I was planning a surprise for him. Everything was set but he hadn't come yet. I tried calling him but he wasn't picking up my calls . I changed my plan and went out in search of him. I looked for him everywhere from the classroom to the canteen but he was nowhere to be seen. I was about to make my way towards the labs when my gaze caught him kissing Shanaya in the store room. I was shocked . I felt as if the ground was pulled off my feet. I stood there numb and rooted with tears storming out of my eyes. They looked up at me like they were surprised .

I couldn't bare the sight anymore. I turned my heels and ran till my knees gave up. I reached a lonely park where there was no one around. I sat down on the bench with a thud while his words kept ringing in my ears .
"I love you Sanyukta. I would never want to lose you. You are my life ,Baby.."

It had been a month since that day. I was sitting in the same park trying to cope up with my pain. My heart was broken and tears were falling like pouring rain . My mind was still wandering with his thoughts when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I lifted my forehead to see who  it was and saw a handsome boy standing in front me.

"Yes????", I answered him.

"Here take this... ", he chipped forwarding a neatly folded handkerchief.

I shook my head in response.

"I'm not asking you whether you want it or not. So please take it...", he handed it to me with a smile and sat by my side.

"Thanks ", I chipped wiping my face.

"He's such a jerk. He doesn't deserve your tears. I know you are hurt and I can't see you in pain so I've decided to be your rebound for next 30 days ", he winked at me and ran away before I could respond.

I was stunned and shocked.

"RR-Rebound????"
