Kairo POV BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM. I woke to loud bangs on my front door this morning. I got up, checked on Lil Ant then proceeded downstairs. Who tf is banging on my door at this time of day 🙄 I open the door to see August out of breath. "What the hell is wrong with you? Nigga its 6 o'clock in the goddamn morning." He smirked and laughed at me as he catched his breath.
"I'm happy to see you too baby" he said as he planted a kiss on my cheek. "I went on a run with Troub."
"Who?" as soon as I said that some dude covered in tattoos pops up behind him

"Wassup lil ma?" "hey" was all I managed to get out. August looked at me all weird.
"This is ya new bodyguard" August said as they both trailed off to the kitchen
"I don't need a bodyguard, Lance has been staying with me.."
"That's exactly why I got you a bodyguard, ion want this milk dud ass nigga walking around here like he yo nigga or sum" I just rolled my eyes. He had a point tho. Lance swear he my nigga. Lately he been tryna keep tabs on me like we actually together. For example, the other day he tried to check me about something I was wearing. It was early in the morning, everybody was still sleep including my lil man, and I had just come from a morning walk with my little butterfly (my unborn son). Since I'm not showing yet, I still wear cute revealing workout clothes

I walked into the kitchen to get a drink of water, and there was Lance in the fridge. "Pass me a water" I said as I sat on the counter to rest. Lance finally came out the fridge and gave me a strange look. "What?" is all I said as he stared.
"What the fuck you got on?" he said in an angry tone
"Umm .. work out clothes .. the fuck ?" I snatched the water bottle out of his hand and started walking upstairs.
"You pregnant you shouldnt be walking around like that " he stated as he trailed me up the steps
"I'm grown as fuck, and you not my dad OR August while you walking around here making demands" is all I said before I began to close my bedroom door. Lance stuck his hand out before I could completely close the door on him.
"I don't care, you not finna be walking around like that" then he took the door handle and slammed the door as he walked away. He needs to get a grip
